  1. Sure builders mess up. Who is saying they dont?
  2. Why is it that almost everytime someone has an engine built,and it blows up in the first couple months,they always blame the builder. I see threads all the time where people are saying "im going to call out the builder if he dont make it right." It seems like noone even considers that they might have just done something stupid. thanks,that is all.
  3. Man i must be lucky,i always buy cheapy ebay oil seals,usualy the K&S brands,and never had any trouble. I have however had lots of trouble with cheap ebay gaskets,particularly head gaskets

  8. The a arms i would try to find a good set on ebay or on here. If one broke the others may be close behind,as for the hardware,bushings can be had dirt cheap on rmatv or ebay
  9. +2 arms are a complete waste of money unless you do front shocks as well. You can probably find a couple of stockers on here or ebay for under 100 bucks and be riding again in no time.
  10. im pretty sure i have replaced countershaft seals without splittng,or even taking the motor out. isnt that the seal behind the sprocket?
  11. Our 91 was at 90/95 for quite sometime and it would start,but it took a few kicks. The fact that its both cylinders is a giveaway for me.Theres no way you could get an engine to wear evenly down to 60 psi lol

  13. Ductile just means it will flex or bend. Metal in general is designed to bend so it doesnt crack or break,wich is why buildings have steal frames instead of all concrete so they can flex. Im not sure if there would be anadvantage to a sleave that will flex more.

  15. You have a major air problem somewhere. A clogged pilot wont lean it that bad,it would just run like crap. A clogged main then it just wouldnt rev. Hell even putting one of your air screws at 5 turns wouldnt lean it out THAT bad.

  17. Take thee cylinders to whoever is going to bore it for you,and let them measure it for you. Its not matter of choice here,you have to run the right size,and only someone with the right knowledge and tools can do it. if the bike didnt "blow up" you might get lucky and only need a hone

  19. 50 is a big squish in my opinion,i always shoot for low to mid 40's.
  20. For some reason i always had to go leaner on the pilot when using pj's,but this was on 250r's
  21. Pj's are a little harder to tune. Now im sure there are people with pj's out there who can tune them just fine. But i find the idle circuit being on the choke a pain in the bum.
