  1. look like older fmf gold series or bills. but i have never seen a fmf or bills non stamped What silencers are on them? maybe toomey t3?
  2. I know this is off topic but be careful with those full flights. I have seen those smaller heim joints rip out,and i have seen the pins that go through the heims break in half. A company named ASR makes super heavy duty heims and pins,if your going to ride hard i would strongly suggest it
  3. x2 on that those carbs are big
  4. Its true man i have see some real garbage come out of trinity, ftz too
  5. Well it all depends if your bike is really ported or some trainee jerk off at trinity just ran a dremel in your cylinders and cleaned them up to look like its ported. If that yfz hooks up you might have a good race on your hands
  6. Single carb is not your problem. Jetting or settings is the problem. Mess with the air screw and see if that helps
  7. A lot if its done right. Whats most important is will you enjoy riding it or not.
  8. Ya if theres more than like a 20 percent chance of rain that day i wont be there,to long of a drive to ride in cold rain.
  9. I have been running them for years, and i can tell you anyone running these setups and having trouble either doesnt have it setup right or the jetting is off. I got one on my trail bike, and i have one on my ported bike.On the trail bike i run a 33pwk and an airbox, and the other im running a 35 or 36(pwk) and a clamp on filter. The bike with the bigger carb is ported and t5's. They are by far the single best investment i have made for both quads. Jetting is quick and easy--and cheaper/it makes more room/thumb throttle is easier,i just think for trail riding and play riding it is an awesome set-up. 2 carbs work just fine, but i just really like the single carb way better. For dune or drag though i would stick with 2 carbs. I swear by these kits, and its always the first thing i buy for a banshee Remember this is all a matter of opinion though.
  10. There was actualy a banshee on ebay with a yfz450 motor on ebay a while back. lots of work though...
  11. Well if it really is solid, and looks good,i might spend 500,but it would have to be clean as hell
  12. IMO 500 is way to much for an 86 yz80,i see late 90's models around here for 7-900 bucks. yz80's are cool little bikes, but they can be had cheap
  13. You should be close with that jetting. If anything i would say go one step up on the pilot. But i wouldnt think a stock pilot would be that far off. I ran t5's with clamp on KnN's with stock pilots and 280 mains, needle in the middle, and it ran great
  14. oh ok i never thought about that actualy
  15. run a single 33mm carb,and when its above 50 degrees i run 155 main,40 pilot,air screw out 1 1/2---if it drops below 50 i run a 165 main,42 pilot,and air screw the same
  16. Why would you have gas puddles from not emptying your float bowls?
  17. i just buy new tanks lol
  18. mine does that sometimes, just got to rock it a bit to get it going and break it loose. Its always going to be harder to rill in gear with clutch than in nuetral
  19. I ran exspensive premix at 40:1 for years, always paid like 12 or 13 a quart for it. Well i got fed up and for the last two seasons i have ran gn2 premix that cost me 7 bucks a quart, and i run it in my trail banshee and my drag setup with no issues
  20. I have 4 33pwk's lol
  21. Well theres about 25million things you can go but i would just check all the rod and crank bearings.
  22. You should get some silencers from cobra that are made for the the yamaha warrior and run them,They have a megaphone shape, and if you gut them and run them it will give you some serious decibels! Only drawback is that everyone within earshot of you will want to beat you about the head and neck with a hammer. in all seriousness,i run powercore's and love them.
  23. Do you mean at what time the port opens or how long the port is open?
  24. My point was the cylinders need to be set up like he had it.So if the first guy is running a spacer, then wether you go long rod or not you have to keep the cylinders at the same height.
