  1. Actually, now that I've taken a second to think about it, I reckon I have it sussed. Thanks a lot for your help!!
  2. Thanks for your help mate. I don't keep the bike at home, so I'll have to have a look in the next week or so and try and adjust it out. If the axle is on the thinner setting where will the shims be? Does anyone have a photo?
  3. Hi guys, I've recently done a few suspension mods to the banshee, but now my front end is wider than the rear (+2+1 LT Laeger A-Arms & Lonestar Axcalibar Axle). But I've come to the conclusion that my axle must be at the thinnest setting (adjustable +1" to +3.5" from memory). My question is how do I adjust it? I've looked around the axle and can't see anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Cheers, Mike
  4. TORS is still in place (ie. no TORS kit) To the best of my ability, but I don't have the tool (will need to get one and do it) I'm running the standard banshee pilots. The only thing I touched was the main jets, the needles and the air screws. Elevation is roughly 6m above sea level (so basically sea level). Temp is roughly 25-35 degrees celsius Plugs are maybe a month old. Choke tube and everything has been connected. I hope something there helps. And sorry for the metric measurements.
  5. Hey guys, I just jetted the banshee, but it didn't quite go according to plan. Mods are: Toomey T5's, K&N Filter, K&N Powerlid and VForce 3 Rad Valves. I used 280 mains, standard pilots and Toomey needles on the 4th clip from the blunt end, as advised by a few members of the HQ. When I fired it up I had to give it a touch of revs to get it to idle and while puffing a little smoke from the right pipe it shot a flame. I was a little worried, and my brother suggested unburnt fuel. No worries, so I kick it over again and the same thing happens. I've heard that the smoke could be a result of the carbs not being synced properly, but the flames from the right pipe have me very concerned. At this point I had had enough fun for the night. Have you guys got any ideas as to where I've gone wrong? I'm meant to be going on a trip in two days so I need to get this sorted ASAP. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!! Cheers, Mike
  6. Hey guys, Thanks for the tips. I'll give it a go in the next few days and get back to you. This is the kit I went for. I'll be sure to let you know how they fit/perform. But they sent me the wrong colour A-Arms so they will be getting powdercoated (at ATVGalaxy's expense) so that will hold up the install a little. Cheers, Mike
  7. Hey guys, I tried installing a set of Laeger +2+1 LT A-Arms this afternoon and found out that I need a special tool to get the ball joints off. Is this true? Do any of the suspension guru's here know of a trick to do it (relatively safely) without this special tool? Thanks for all your help. Cheers, Mike
  8. Yeah mate, silencers are on. It did make a difference, but there is still way too much movement in the left pipe. I'm hoping it's the springs.
  9. Alright guys, i had a bit of a play with them today. Both sides are mounted the same, but only the left one is giving me grief. The right one is solid. With the left hand one, it is held onto the cylinder fine, but when you shake it one side slides a bit off and then goes back (if you know what I mean). My only guess is that the springs have lost tension or something. Is this common? Other than this I'm well and truly stumped. Tomorrow I'm going to try the springs off the right side exhaust to see if it fixes the problem. Any other ideas guys? Cheers, Mike
  10. Hey guys, I fitted up a new set of Toomey T5's yesterday and I just can't get the left side (when sitting on the bike). Both pipes look to be sitting perfectly and line up great and the right side is very solid (can't shake it at all). But the left one is quite easy to shake around and move. Are there any tricks I can try or any common install mistakes I may have missed? Cheers, Mike
  11. Thanks for your help mate. I'll give it a go today.
  12. Hey guys, I've just bolted on a few intake/exhaust mods and I want to have a go at jetting the carbs myself. The only problem is I have no idea what needles/clips to use. I got a jet kit with my T5's, will this have all the needles I need? Ok, so now I need some advice. What setup would you run with the following engine mods: Toomey T5 exhausts, K&N pod filter, K&N Powerlid and VForce 3 Rad valves. I live in Western Australia so the temperature is usually around 30'C mark and I ride at an altitude of ~6 metres (sorry for all the metric figures). Also are there any tips or tricks for the whole jetting process? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Cheers, Mike
  13. How did this go? Did the setup work and do you have any final pics of it all setup/pics of the process? Cheers man
  14. No problem at all mate. I'm flat out at the moment too and I've just blown a lot of cash on the banshee, so it can wait. But sometime in the new year I'll be hitting you up for a grill
  15. Is there any chance you ship worldwide JD? I live in Australia, but your products look second to none!!
