  1. Alright east coast guys I'm always reading about all these BHQ rides, but they're never around here. I think we need to resolve this problem and get one together ourselves. UPDATE: The ride is being held at Busco Beach ATV park in NC here is a link to their site www.buscobeach.com . The dates are going to be May13th, 14th and the 15th the same weekend as the St.Joe BHQ ride this is 2 weeks before Memorial Day weekend. Busco Beach is private land which is an island and riding is permitted 24 hours a day there is no quiet time and alcohol is encouraged. The cost to ride is $5 a day and to camp in a tent is another $5 a day they also have full hookup sites for the RV boys at different rates you can check with them on that. All hook up sites must be reserved in advance so check with Busco Beach on that also. By the way if you have a jetski or a PWC bring it with you, there's a spot to do that to.
  2. As said before both guys are kickass builders. I personally had Jeff @ FAST do my port work and everything was nice and clean and their customer service is second to none. Hell Jeff even sat on the phone with me at 11 pm discussing my port work. I'm sure you'll be happy with either one.
  3. Heres two sets that are pretty cheap http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Yamaha-Banshee-350-billet-aluminum-2-tie-rod-set-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem5addecfe25QQitemZ390270352933QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TIE-RODS-2-BANSHEE-3-COLORS-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem562ffdb9adQQitemZ370172344749QQptZMotorsQ5fATVQ5fPartsQ5fAccessories
  4. When doing the swap as long as you use the yfz spindles along with the aarms you dont lose any ground clearance. I put a complete yfz front end on my shee aarms, spindles, calipers, hubs and rotors. I also used 2009 yfzr shocks and I gained at least an inch if not more clearance instead of losing any. The whole setup cost me $300 including the shocks which where brand new no ride time what so ever. I know that a lot of guys on here are always downing the swap but in my opinion it was one of the best mods as far as handling that I've done yet. Most of my riding is trails and fire roads and I havent come across any problems yet with the setup. You can probably see in my sig that my shee has more clearance, I like how it sits now.
  5. I agree totally people need to leave well enough alone. I was working on a house last week and the home owner was bitching about the deer eating her trees and plants. But when I walked out back I noticed a pile of corn at the edge of the woods. When I asked the homeowner about it she said she put it there to keep the deer off of her trees and plants. Some people are just too stupid.
  6. I agree 100% with you on the 18s, But totally disagree with you on the +4 swinger. I've been running a +4 swinger for about 4 or 5 years now and have never thought about going back stock. All I ride for the most part are trails and fire roads and I love my +4. When it comes to hill climbing or the occasional drag race the +4 cant be beat I've even found it to be a little better on the whoops also. Once you start really putting some power down to the ground you'll appreciate the +4 a ton, it's a little hard to keep power to the ground when the ass end wants to go before the front end (AKA wheelie). The main downfall would be turning radius, but once you learn to slide around your corners instead of turning and driving around them you'll be fine. Just my .02
  7. Looks good bro
  8. Yea it was probably the same bear and no I'm not a member of AT. Come to find out the bear was basicly someones pet this guy leroy has been hand feeding this bear since he was a cub. The hunter found out that the bear was hooked on twinkies and diet soda; I know right but yes twinkies and diet coke. One of the hunters was supposed to be diabetic and just happen to have some twinkies and diet coke sitting out when the bear was shot. The fools also chased this poor bear around and shot the thing 8 or 9 times before it expired. Its guys like that who makes honest hunters look like shit. Link of story . The bear was killed Monday on the first day of archery season, by which time it had grown to 875 pounds, the largest recorded bear in Pennsylvania.contributed photoBy DAVID KIDWELLPocono Record Visual EditorNovember 20, 2010 Leroy Lewis stood in the doorway of his tiny mobile home in Bushkill on Monday evening and wept as a Pennsylvania Game Commission officer told him his beloved bear, Bozo, had been shot by a hunter. Seventeen years of memories filled Lewis' mind as he digested the news that Bozo was dead. In those years, Lewis watched this wild animal-turned-pet grow as he hand-fed it table scraps and store-bought pies and other sweets. Related Stories Mike Kuhns: How dare David Price legally hunt record bear 'Tainted' trophy: Poconos hunter's record-setting bear kill spoiled When Bozo was shot by a hunter Monday, he weighed nearly 900 pounds. That made Bozo the largest black bear ever killed in Pennsylvania. A trophy for David Price, the hunter, the kill was a heartbreak for Lewis. "I'm devastated. I'm just devastated," he said Friday. "I mean I feel like I lost a friend. He used to come knock on the door when he was hungry." Price shot the bear with a crossbow on the opening day of Pennsylvania's new archery season for bear hunting. The game commission says Price followed the law when he bagged the giant bear. Price killed the bear near Lewis' trailer, which sits between Fernwood Resort and the border of the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area. Lewis said he started feeding the bear when it was maybe 2 years old. "He was just so friendly that I felt like feeding him," he said. "I never felt like I did anything wrong." The game commission, in fact, thought Lewis was doing wrong by feeding the bear. It cited him in October for feeding wildlife. On Friday, Lewis flipped through stacks of photos, some featuring him posing with the bear and even draped over the bear. "I fed him for 17 years and I raised him from a cub," Lewis recalled. "He loved doughnuts and anything sweet. I was never scared of him."

  10. 'Twas the night before Christmas, and God it was neat The kids were both gone, and my wife was in heat The doors were all bolted, and the phone off the hook It was time for some nooky, by hook or by crook. Momma in her teddy, and I in the nude Had just hit the bedroom and reached for the lube When out on the lawn there arose such a cry, That I lost my boner and poor momma went dry. Up to the window I sprang like an elf, Tore back the shade while she played with herself. The moon on the crest of the snowman we'd built, Showed a broom up his ass, clean up to the hilt. When what to my wondering eyes should appear, But a rusty old sleigh and eight mangy reindeer. With a fat little driver, half out of his sled, A sock in his ear, and a bra on his head. Sure as I'm speaking, he was as high as a kite. And he yelled to his team, but it didn't sound right. Whoa Shithead, whoa Asshole, whoa Stupid, whoa Putz, Either slow down this rig or I'll cut off your nuts. Look out for the lamp post, and don't hit the tree, Quit shaking the sleigh, 'cause I gotta go pee. They cleared the old lamp post, the tree got a rub, Just as Santa leaned out and threw up on my shrub. And then from the roof we heard such a clatter, As each little reindeer now emptied his bladder. I was donning my jacket to cover my ass, When down the chimney Santa came with a crash. His suit was all smelly with perfume galore, He looked like a bum and he smelled like a whore. That was some brothel, he said with a smile, The reindeer are pooped, and I'll just stay here awhile. He walked to the kitchen, poured himself a drink, Then whipped out his pecker and pissed in the sink. I started to laugh, my wife smiled with glee, The old boy was hung nearly down to his knee. Back in the den, Santa reached in his sack, But his toys were all gone, and some new things were packed. The first thing he found was a pair of false tits, The next was a handgun with a penis that spits. A box filled with condoms was Santa's next find, And a six pair of panties, the edible kind. A bra without nipples, a penis extension, And several other things that I shouldn't even mention. A cock ring, a G-string, and all types of oil, A dildo so long, it lay in a coil. This stuff ain't for kids, Mrs. Santa will shit, So I'll leave 'em here, and then I'll just split. He filled every stocking and then took his leave, With one tiny butt plug tucked under his sleeve. He sprang to his sleigh, but his feet were like lead, Thus he fell on his ass and broke wind instead. In time he was seated, took the reins of his hitch, Take me home Rudolph, this night's been a bitch! The sleigh was near gone when we heard Santa shout, The best thing about sex is that it never wears out!

I've been running a +4 for a long time now and love it, and all I pretty much ride are trails and fire roads.
  12. Give Jeff @ FAST a call he'll hook you up; His work is second to none and his customer service is awesome.
  13. Looks like it was a blast for sure. Good job.
  14. First off I want to say this is not my kill, its a guy off a forum I'm on. This bear is a real slammer and was taken in PA. I figured since Tony was talking about bear hunting I'd post it this dude was taking on opening day with a crossbow. You PA boys might of already heard about it, but its live weight was 875lbs and it dressed at 744lbs. Here are a couple of pics.
  15. Way to go congrats on the jake.
  16. Well guys yesterday was a very sad day for me. I was on the way to a stand that I haven't hunted in a little over 2 weeks because of wind conditions and as I was crossing a stream to get to my stand I stummbled across this dead deer. Which is unfucking real I've seen this deer about 6 times so far this year and even have trailcam pics of him. His gross score is 178 6/8 and netted 172 4/8 he is a main frame 10 with 2 kickers which makes him 12. Let me just say this put a damper on my day, it was like I lost a friend. Oh he was hit by a car it looked like, no holes that I could see. This pic dont even do him justice his g2s and g3s are about 14 inches long with an inside spread of 22 inches and his bases are beer bottle size, this guy was a giant probably well over 250 lbs. on hoof
  17. By JULIET WANG Special to the Record-Eagle The Record Eagle Sat Oct 30, 2010, 07:14 AM EDT LANSING — Hunters should be on the lookout for sick-looking deer because of a disease that causes animals to become weak, a state expert says. Epizootic hemorrhagic disease is transmitted by biting flies and causes high fever, said Tom Cooley. Infected deer have been found in Berrien, Cass and Ottawa counties this year, according to the Department of Natural Resources and Environment. If hunters find a sick-looking deer, they should contact the Michigan DNRE Wildlife Disease Laboratory. "If the deer is dying in bodies of water, it raises a red flag," said Cooley, a wildlife pathologist at DNRE. White-tailed deer show signs of the disease promptly, including loss of appetite and excessive salivation, a high fever and a high respiration rate, Cooley said. The disease causes the deer to become thirsty, so they're most likely to be found near bodies of water. "Within three to 10 days of infection, the deer will develop signs of illness," said Cooley. "It's quick." Steven Bolin tests infected deer carcasses for the virus. "We don't see this disease every year. Sometimes it can be as many as 20 positive, but it's never that big of a number. Of all the deer that test positive, it's a pretty small number," said Bolin of the Diagnostic Center for Population and Animal Health at Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. "Four or five or six will test positive and we'll test twice that many deer," said Bolin. Richard King of the mid-Michigan branch of the Quality Deer Management Association has hunted for 30 years in the Gladwin area and has not come across any deer infected with EHD. "My experiences have been good," said King, of Gladwin. "The one sick deer that I've encountered was very malnourished and could not stand. It just laid there and suffered. I called the DNRE and was told to follow up on it but I never did. That was a long time ago." EHD is not common but has been showing up more frequently. "There haven't been many cases, but recently, from 2006 to 2010, it showed up four times in five years," Cooley said. In 2006, die-offs occurred in Allegan County with 50 to 75 animals. In 2008, the die-off occurred in Oakland and Macomb counties and involved 150 to 200 deer. In 2009, die-offs occurred in Livingston County with more than 150 deer. "It's hard to say why. It might be because of the weather or climate change because the disease seems to be moving north. Historically, it affected the southern areas," Cooley said. There is no known evidence that humans can contract the disease. "If a human were to consume a deer with EHD, there would be no human risk," said Cooley. "However, it's recommended that hunters not consume sick-acting deer. Not every deer that gets infected dies, but be on the lookout." Regular firearm hunting season runs from Nov. 15 to Nov. 30. 18. Congrats on your first buck Sheez. May there be many more.
  19. FAST did mine and I love it the powers great and Jeff is a great dude to work with, he's very good about answering any questions as a matter of fact I've been on the phone with Jeff past 11 o'clock pm so that just shows that he's always getting something done. But whatever you do make sure you do it with a site sponser.
  20. And here we go... #10 - You can trade an old 44 for a new 22. #9 - You can keep one gun at home and have another for when you're on the road. #8 - If you admire a friend's gun and tell him so, he will probably let you try it out a few times. #7 - Your primary gun doesn't mind if you keep another gun for a backup. #6 - Your gun will stay with you even if you run out of ammo. #5 - A gun doesn't take up a lot of closet space. #4 - Guns function normally every day of the month. #3 - A gun doesn't ask , "Do these new grips make me look fat?" #2 - A gun doesn't mind if you go to sleep after you use it. And the Number One reason Why Men Prefer Guns over women..... 1 - You can buy a silencer for a gun!
  21. He's in PA, and here in MD you can also hunt the fall turkey season with a rifle here in the western part of the state.
  22. Sorry I call BS. If you come right at me and I had a shotgun in my hand you can bet your ass I'm not moving. You'll move or get shot and then you say you yanked him up, a man with a gun yea right. If the dude was hunting there it sounds like you were the one that was not supposed to be there. I'm a hunter and I see punk ass kids doing this shit all the time, I've personally followed kids home and reamed their ass for riding on my hunting property. A lot of us hunters put a lot of time and money in what we do, and we dont need some punk that dont belong there tearing shit up. Your buddy's lucky he didnt get killed and if he would of it would of been you guys at fault not the hunter. Sorry just my .02
  23. Congrats Tony!! I hope I'm gonna be posting some good pics here soon, I got 5 different wall hangers that I've been seeing around 2 of my stands. I just havent got a shot yet, but we have an early muzzleloader season starting next thurs. So I'm praying.
  24. If you think that thing rips now throw a set of T-5s on that bad boy and see what it can really do.
  25. Yes he's running stock carbs. It's listed in his sig. Your question asking what is the duration is why I'm saying don't try this yourself. If you don't completely understand what your doing the only thing your going to accomplish is fucking up your cylinders. I know one person here said go for it, but it aint his shee that's going to get fucked up it's yours, so your the one that needs to make that call. Again my best opinion for you is to find a set of cylinders already set up for 4mil with pistons and rings included. There is always some running around on here for sale. Once you have a properly ported and set up topend there to compare then I would say ok if they get fucked up it really dont matter. And as far as jetting I promise you that if your running a 4 mil on 280 jets its most likely lean and your going to burn it down. Good luck with all this keep us posted.
