  1. I´m at 300ft´s ASL. I´m sorry, I re-read your post and you were right, your pilots were too small if you have to turn the airscrew all in and it runs better that way. HEHEE!! Kevins port work offers alot more bottom end power than mine does! However, I have now a set of CEL needles and I´m going to use them after I´ll get my motor back together. We´ll see if I have to go bigger pilots then. My current needles are guite rich down low. -Pasi S.
  2. I´m not an expert here and I don´t know Kevins work but I would go a smaller pilot, like 42 or so. I´m using 35.5PWK´s with my ported 64,5x54 stock cyl´s and I have 40 pilots and they are good. I would like to test 38´s but I don´t have them and I can´t get them over here. -Pasi S.
  3. Here is Smallbore and here is bigbore -Pasi S.
  4. My friend has a 421CUB with some clean up port work. 48 pilots worked good. He has CPI sb/if pipes and VF3´s. -Pasi S.
  5. Check the compression and if it´s high and you want to use pump gas, then get some bigger domes. I would get bigger domes and see how it goes with pump gas and with those 35´s before buying anything else. JMHO -Pasi S. X2 Andy at M&M ATV is a great guy!
  6. Get some 20 or 21cc domes or use that stock head and see how it goes. I use to have stock head, 135PSI, pump gas and 35.5PWK´s in my ported stock cyl motor and it runs great! No problems with those big carb´s. I need to use small pilots to get it right, 40 in summer time and 42 in winter time. -Pasi S.
  7. Thanks! Fak you too!! -Pasi S.
  8. I´m a million miles away from Glamis and I have never ride at dunes, but I think the guys who will answer to you need to know is your rear tires 20", 21" or 22". If you think that you can give away a little from the top end speed to gain more low/mid, you can go 13/41 or 14/43 or something like that. -Pasi S.
  9. My friend has That motor with 34PJ´s on gas. He´s going to get some Keihin 39 PWK´s. I´m running 35PWK´s in my ported 3fitty stocker and it runs great. If I had the money for Taht motor I would get 39PWK´s. -Pasi S.
  10. If you are talking about those 20mm long Wipertec studs, then they are not regular snow tire studs. Regular "stud gun"(?) (in most of the cases) can´t accept these studs. They are too long to go through. -Pasi S.
  11. Yes you will need some tools to do it. I can´t translate all of it so... You will need this http://www.kuinoma.fi/files/Gern_komp..jpg to use this "stud gun" or what ever you call it LOL! Before all of this you need to drill good holes for those kind of studs. ...and you need use Loctite 480 glue I don´t know hard to translate HEH! -Pasi S.
  12. Didn´t find anything else! (joke) -Pasi S.
  13. I can buy Ice tires "ready to race" here from Finland. I know that that doesn´t help you much, but they are keeping them in stock. I bought my fronts ready and did my rears by my self because I wanted to learn how to do that. (look other Ice tire thread on here if you want to see the pic´s of them) -Pasi S.
  14. I have these kind of studs in my tires WT20ATVJÄÄ(Maxxis Razr2) 250 in each rear and if I remember right 150 in fronts. http://www.wipertec.fi/atvnastat.php and they look like these. front (not mine but I have the same) http://shop.teamlaine.fi/images/large/etunastarengas.jpg rear (not mine but I have the same) http://shop.teamlaine.fi/images/large/takacrossinastarengas.jpg You can do them by your self if you have the tools. Hope this helps. -Pasi S.
  15. Just to show EGT, nothing else. My friend use EGT for raw tuning on a dyno. -Pasi S.
  16. Yeah, but what tires and how much pressure?? -Pasi S.
  17. Do you mean like this??! Last winter. As of right now. Porting in progress, new swing arm is coming, and some other stuff..... ... -Pasi S.
  18. I have 35 PWK´s in my stock stroke 64.5 (ported) motor and they work good. 33 or 35 PWK´s or 34 PJ´s should be fine. -Pasi S.
  19. 35 now, soon 36. Living in Finland (Scandinavia, Europe)
  20. I found this from the web... http://www.atvsource.com/articles/product_reviews/2002/071202_maxxis_4_snow_tire.htm ...yes I know! -Pasi S.
  21. OK, so the 4Snows are heavyer, I didn´t know that. That´s 1+ for ProWedges. (No Zippers for me. It´s only PW2´s from M&M or 4Snows from here) Let´s keep this going.... -Pasi S.
  22. I want to hear your opinion about this. Is there any difference in ET in 300ft and 500ft drags? I know that there is a difference but how big or small it is? Pro-Wedge II on 8x8 blue labels vs. Maxxis 4 Snow on stock 9" rims. The reason why I´m asking is that I can buy a set of 4Snows here but they are for 9" rims. The wedges and the blue labels I have to buy from the states. Thank you! -Pasi S.
  23. What kind of tires you are using? size? What gearing you have? How long you need to go on the road and what is your speed? A Banshee motor is basicly the same as in the RD350 LC street bike, so you can go on-road for a long time without any problems. ...as long as the jetting is good. -Pasi S.
  24. My friend has a stock stroke, stock port, 66mm bore cylinders, coolhead 20cc domes, 34PJ´s, VF3´s, K&N´s and timing advance. Pipes are T5´s. It made 51HP´s and 34.7 lb/ft of torque. Here is the paper.
  25. I´ll take the +6 swingarm! -Pasi S.
