I have both sets air strikers on my wifes bike and pwk's on my bike. I have been happy with hers the only issue I had with them was they were way different to jet than a pwk. They seem to run very well and when jetted right I dont really see any differance in the way the run.

Why does everyone think you can tell them what the top speed of a quad is by the mods that they think are done to the motor??? You can do 100mph on a stock banshee if you have enough gearing and a long enough straight stretch to do it.

Just cut one side of the peg shorter than the other after you cut it off that way it fits right on the plate. That is what I did to mine. I also used a raptor 700 gear shift which is shorter than a banshee one and fits perfect for me but you have got to grind a new notch in the shift shaft becasue the bolt is in the wrong place on the raptor shifter.

Well most all the guys on here have parted and sold parts the worst part is making sure you have the time to box and ship what you are selling. Where are you located maybe someone could ptu it back together for you cheap and you could ride it?

Sounds like you ate putting good parts in it but I would tell you to call around to the site sponsors on here before you send your cylinders out to be ported. I had the same setup you are building on race gas ported by Redline and I was 74hp on the dyno. I would also say it is well worth the money to go with a cool head instead of cutting a stock one. You will be glad you spent the extra money if you do. Changing domes is much easier and chaper than changing heads and head gaskets. I would advance to timing to plus 4. I do have a used cool head I would sell if you decide you want to go that way.

Factory slides will do that they may not show much wear but that is a common problem for factory slides to stick. Replace the slides and it will stop doing that

Just depends on what you are looking for. I would send your cylinders off to a site sponsor and have them look at them and see if they think they are worth porting or not. If they arre already 65.25 and look like they may need bored soon it may not be worth porting them. A serval is a good option as long as you get it setup right. I would not go with the Athena kit becasue that kit needs a lot of work out of the box to make any power. Bigger carbs are not really going to be of any help until you do more motor work. I would stick with the stock carbs look at having your cylinders ported and put a cool head on it and call it a day.

No I have never been checked for spark aresstors. I have no idea why they would check you I have been pulled over many times and have never had anyone say something about that. They are cracking down on the saftey cards you need to have so make sure you get online and take care of that.

I made the mistake of sailing my banshee also. Fucking thing was slow just could not get enough wind to make it fun!!

I moved my CDI up front then I run my wires for my tail lights inside the frame so you cant see any wires from the motor back.

My step son use to ride wheelies on his banshee all day long. Little fucker could ride them forever on the dunes then one day he lost it over backwards while doing a 5th gear wheelie. Needless to say that fuck him and the bike both up pretty good.
