Guess the best way to answer that is for you to tell us what they want to mill your stock head? You can buy a used cool head for pretty cheap so my first thought is no it is not worth cutting you stock one.

There are lots of opinions on here some of them are shit and some of them are actually worth something. One of the biggest issues is the answers can only be as good as the question getting ask! If you can not explain your issue right on a forum then the answer you are going to get is probably not going to help you at all. The other issue is people are in such a hurry to just type some worthless answer up to get there post in that they do not actually spend any time thinking about the question that was ask. Like was said earlier just go look at the repair thread so many of the answers in there are total crap. That being said how in the hell would you propose we make a qualifications list? Why have you decided they are both bad? I have never had both go bad at the same time for that matter I have never had a flywheel go bad just stators. I know guys on here have lost flywheels not saying they dont go bad it is just not a common thing. Can you explain how you came to decide this is the issue?

3" black water pipe works the best. Heat that shit up and bend it to fit the frame then JB weld it to the head and the bike will run great. Sound will be awesome also!

I would be sure and check the brake fluid level because that could be the issue also. Only the rear brake fluid front will not cause that kind of a problem.

Sounds like you better pull the head and look inside the cylinders. If it was backfiring out one side then died sounds like you seized a piston.

Wow some awesome advice in this thread for sure. Best one is from the guy who just started a thread about how people on here are parts changers and not real mechanics. So for starters if it was the clutch side case seal it would be smoking like a bitch out the right side pipe and you would be loosing case oil so we know your idea is wrong. Second everyone keeps telling him to check his seats in his carbs because they may be dry and rotted. Well if they are dry and rotted then when he turns the gas on it would be running gas all over the floor out of the carbs so we can eliminate that also. Probably the best GUESS out of any was Zilla who said a broken reed but stock reeds almost never break and if you do loose a reed they usually start like shit so I am guessing that is not the issue either. You either have a electrical issue with the bike or they put your carbs back together wrong when they had them apart. Take it by Dave's and let him look it over. I have already told him I would be more than happy to give him a hand if he cant figure it out but I am guessing he will find it with no issue. Keep up the great advice guys!

Yes they can be painted I painted my wifes 2 seasons ago and they still look great.

If you do not find it I have it all minus the rear brakes.
