Needing to hold it out has nothing to do with it working it just means it is getting worn where teh spring rides and will not hold it out any longer. That is a real common problem to have with stock carbs. -
If they rebuilt the motor and after you got it back you have got to take the filters off and put your hand over the carb to choke it to start it then they did not get something right. If you had this issue before they built the motor they should have adddressed it when they put the motor back in. I have personally pulled motors apart that C&M has built and all I can say is enjoy having them work on your shit dude becasue what they tell you they put in your motor and what is actually in your motor are 2 different things from my experiance. As far as your starting issue goes you could have the float bowls on wrong causing your choke not to work right you could have a plugged up circut on your carbs would be a air leak. You get the idea it could be several issues.

If you are at sea level then you are running to big of a pilot for running a air box and a lid. I would drop down to either stock or a 27.5 at the most. Your main should be close and what works at sea level is going to work at 1,000 unless you are running it right on the edge of being to lean. I would guess your smoking and running like shit was just your carbs needing cleaned. -
Okay I agree that he sells crap and tries to get junk parts over on people but for fuck sakes guys does anyone look at shit before they buy it. Even if I had only looked at the outside of those wheels I would have noticed something was wrong. Look at the first pic the center of the wheel has half of the yellow paint flaked off and the second wheel has all of the yellow paint on it. They were to be polished on one side??? Well if they still had paint on the center would you not notice something was wrong? The hub does not cover that oart of the wheel so you would have a polished wheel with half flaked off yellow center showing??? People need to take a little responsability for this shit and pay better attention to what they are buying!

LOL You are wrong sir. We have tried several time to organize a ride way ahead of time so everyone can make it and it never happens. The biggest issue is most all the people here is Oregon have so many rides planned for the year it is hard to find a weekend that works for everyone.

The reason for that seems to be that no one can get these pipes?? Hard to ask for a return on something you dont have lol. If you want to bash on Shearer just come out and say his name it would be better than you hinting around about it. I do not know you or Shearer personally but I do run his pipes and I do know that him and anyone that works for him has been very helpfull and always willing to do anything they can to help me out and I bought my pipes used from someone and Matt knows that,

Were you running a lid before or did you have no lid and just cut the sides off? If you just cut the sides off then no need to rejet. -
LOL I am assuming that is a joke? Pretty funny if you ask me. You could do it on the bench just fine with just the reeds and intakes installed as long as you have some way figure out to kick it over. No need for exhaust or anything else. Just let us know how you decided to kick it over hard enough to do this.

Yes you can run a stock crank in it. Now weather it will run worth a shit or not is another question. With out knowing for sure what the cylinders are setup for there is no way someone can answer that question. Send them off and get them checked like Finch said.

This thread is dead! It is well known by now that no matter what SRP will just come un here talk mad shit never answer the questions that are ask of him and never actually show up to a race unless it is in his back yard and even then his shit will just be broke when he unloads it out of the trailer. It ireally is to bad I am sure Passion can build a motor but FUCK Gary has people skills of a snake! Sounds like to me the Wilcard invational is going to be where all the real builders are going to be and the real racing will happen! I am sure we will not be seeing Passion racing at that event!

Wow I was away for a couple of days and this thread blows up. LOL How the hell is it that Redline offers to drive 14 hrs to meet and have a builders race and all you can say is come to OK?? If people do not come to your back yard you are not willing to prove shit! You people skills are awesome dude it just shocks me that you have not been able to take the pipe market over with these skills you have!

I swear you make yourself look more like a idiot everytime you get into one of these internet fights. You talk a ton of shit about what your bikes will do and about what your pipes will do then you want everyone to come meet you at a race you chose????? Fucking really dude. If your shit is really that fast take it to all the big tracks and set all the records and prove what a bad ass you are dont just run your mouth on the internet!! None of the other builders feel the need to get on here and claim they build motors that will haul fat people and blah blah blah instead they just build the shit and prove it out on the sand and on the track. They are to busy building motors to get in these fights on here.

I cant wait to see where this thread goes. It is not that simple and people for some damn reason can not understand that. Hey lets get together at the dunes and have a fair heads up race with all the builders and make sure you all build the same motor. What in the world makes you think everyone is going to even consider sticking to the motor guide lines??? So should we crack open the winning motor every pass and see what is inside???? If we dont do that then before you can even get on the road headed back home people will be on here making all kinds of excuses of why there builder got his ass kicked and how it never really happened. HMMMMM Kind of like last year. Never going to happen!!!!!
