  1. I went through all 5 pages of this usless shit and since I took up my time to go through it now I am going to waste everyone elses time with my thoughts on this. I am not a fan of Jim or Passion and I can be honest about that right up front. The only reason I am not a fan is becasue of the way he has handled many of the situations on this site and the way he has talked tome personally when I have tried to ask him about any of the shit he seems to get in the middle of here. What I dont like is how any time he takes months and months to build a motor which (always seems to be the case) he then loves to throw out there that his shit is not just some off the shelf stuff it is a real racing motor that is better than anything else out there. For fuck sakes if your shit is that amazing stop telling everyone how bad ass your shit is and get out to the even in Utah this weekend and stomp a mud hole in every builder out there and then you will have room to talk. Basically you are saying other builders dont build motors that perform like yours do but every time someone wants to meet up you always back out and wil only show up at the time and spot you chose. I know there are going to be several builds in Utah this weekend and I know they are taking bikes they built. SO JIM SHUT UP AND GO PROVE WHAT YOU REALLY CAN BUILD OR JUST SHUT ALL TOGETHER!!! Dont talk about other builders shit just flat tell people hell I build good motors I am just slow as shit and o ya lots of other builders can build motors that will run just as well as mine in less than half the time just so you know. I think I wasted enough of everyones time I am done now.
  2. If you had to get it warm to get it up to 120 I would still say your motor is getting a little tired. I would be looking to stick a new top end up it here some time soon.

  7. If it is getting hot quick I would check the water pump and also check for a air leak becasue your main jet is plenty big for that motor!
  8. Do you have the choke tube on between the carbs? If you forgot that it will not run either. If you pulled all the electrical and just drilled the carbs and put them back on right it has got to be something you missed. CZheck the choke tube and go over all the electrical again and make damn sure everything is unplugged. Make sure the wires you cut and put heat shrink on are not touching each other. If they are touching inside the shrink tubing that could cause your issue also.

  11. Only way to check the impeller is to pull the cover and look at it.
  12. Sounds like to me you put your slides in backwards. If you look at your carbs from the rear are the flat part of the slides facing you are the rounded side? The rounded part of the slide should face the air filters

  14. Why do you think you want 90 to 100hp?? What are you planning on doing with the bike? If you are building just a dune bike that is getting to the point of being a little much for the average rider. My dune bike has 94hp and honestly some times I wish I had left it alone when it was 74hp. It is fun as hell to ride in the right places but it sucks fuel like crazy and when you get in tight spots on the dunes it can be a real handful. You are going to need a 421 cub to make those kind of numbers. Give Cameron at Redline a call and talk to him about what you are wanting to do and he will steer you in the right direction.
  15. Prices on cylinders and what bore they are please?? Also have they had any port work done on them?

  19. Porting a stock motor is one of the best ways to improve your stock motor! Talk to some site sponsors on here and you will learn alot about what you want to do for the riding you do. You can see massive improvments with porting on a stock motor!
  20. LOL look at the stud on the left cylinder. The stud is backed half way out.
  21. If the arrow lines up like it should then the nut did not fall off of the adjuster. If the nut was gone the arrow would no longer line up. Sounds like to me something got put together wrrong in there. I would guess you had the clutch adjusted to tight and smoked the clutch. Pull the cover and look at your clutch.
  22. If it was jetted for pods you need to rejet for putting the air box back on. What size main jet you running?
  23. Your in Cali and he is in Canada and you can tell him what his jetting should be without knowing anything else?? LOL Please tell me what I sould be jetting my 421 cub on gas? O I am in OR main pilot and needle number and clip position please? Thanks for the expert info in advance
