  1. Holy shit that actualy looks like a real web site now. Nice job Lee!!!!!
  2. If you text him he will get right back to you. Yes he is still doing covers
  3. Holy Shit that sucks man!!!!!! Best part is it looks like it didnt get high enough to hurt your house.
  4. Well done man!!! I read your entire build thread on the other site and you have really built this thing right!
  5. Sounds like you lost the head gasket to me. Better shut her down and pull the head before you bend a rod!!!!
  6. That is your steering stop and yes it is bent. Very common problem use a big punch and a hammer and bend it back straight before you have it coated.
  7. Main is still plenty big even with the top off the air box. You should have only gone to a 27.5 pilot a 30 is probably going to be too big for that setup. On the pilot it is generally best to try and go up one size at a time.
  8. What happen to all the ones you were posting about?
  9. Your main should be plenty big for your setup. The pilot needs to go up but I would leave the main alone that is a big main for a bike running the air box
  10. It is one of those things people either seem to love or hate. I have never had a issue with mine but I have had people get on mine and go over backwards within 5 mins of being on it.
  11. Hell ya it is worth it buy that bitch
  12. O-Rings should be fine. I would check the plugs after a ride. Probably need to drop one jet size I would guess
  13. Well you are going to need to pull the carbs and clean them out. Even with no fuel in the tank I am sure the carbs are going to be nasty from what little was left in them. I would drain the case oil and replace it then fire it up and hope to hell you clutch is not stuck together so bad you cant get it loose. If the stuck is stuck and will not release you may end up needing to pull the clutch over take the cover off the clutch and pull the plates apart. Other than ride fire it up and ride the hell out of it. OOPS Carb not carbs
  14. You should be pretty close on your jetting. Usually a bike setup like that running on the Oregon coast with want a 27.5 pilot and around a 270 main. Needle clip you just need to play with and see what the bike wants. Every bike is different yours may be fine with stock pilot or may want a bigger one. I would put a 270 main in it and see how it runs. Only change on jet at a time do not do the pilot and the main at the same time. 40:1 is fine I run my stuff at 50:1 and all my friends run 40:1
  15. Holy shit if you turned 1 pipe red hot you have serious issues! Compression check is going to be the first thing to do. Sounds like you had a air leak on the right cylinder and ran it way way way to lean and most likely burned up the piston on that side. 2 Strokes do not do well with that much heat!!
  16. What elevation?
  17. I am at sea level and both my stock bikes are running dual pods so it is a little different. The needle you will just need to play with and see what your bike likes. It is fine to start on the 3rd notch. You are going to be fat with 280 mains so you are not going to hurt anything. I am guessing you will end up with 260 or 270 mains. I have 280 mains in my stock bikes with pipes and dual filters.
  18. You were just feed a huge bowl of BS!!!! My wife and daughter both ride bikes with stock needles and toomey pipes on them. Leave your clip in the position it is in put a bigger main in it and see what your plugs look like. You will only burn your motor up if you run it way lean
  19. No clue why some of you guys have issues with a twist throttle??? I have ran one for years and have never had a issue with it once. Most of my buddies run one also.
  20. If you are using ATF it simply does not last very long. I have ran it before on my 421 and I got tired of changing it all the time because it was burned up. Really depends on riding style but spend the money for good oil and change it once a season.
  21. So why are you only willing to change the jets? If you want to bike to run right you may need to do more than just change the main jets. Yes 280 mains will probably be to big if you are not giving it more air. I would say you will probably be around the 250 to 260 area without adding air. You should be more open to changing more than just the mains if you want to get the full value out of what you bought!
  22. Well done that is a good looking bike!!
  23. LOL Are you being serious?
  24. Where are you located at Josh?
