i have a buddy that said hed trade me some 27.5s for the .030s only reason i got the 30s is because i got a kit with 30 and 280/290/300 a mains and needles and gaskets for 17$ . for some reason everybodys bikes around here seem to like a lot of fuel and where we ride and i would rather sacrifice a little power to be little rich "and just keep it piped n cleaned out" because we also have some slower hill climbs with rocks and some slow technical trails and have seem a lot of heating problems and that may or may not be due to lean set ups but with fresh build i dont wana chance it. but i will take your advice with the 27 pilots . guess i should have mentioned that the air box top is removed. i have a set of 30 pilots on the way. May try needles later on after get it broke in good. Thanks for the help guys.

ill probably give a 290 and 27.5 a try. i had thought about toomey needles but iv heard so many mixed opinions on them. i do mostly trail riding and a lot of hillclimbs . So anything to help midrange would be a plus. it actually seems to have good bottom and midrange power just doesn't like to idle and a what little i got on the main it kinda fell off but i figured thats due to the t6 pipes. when i got this shee it was bone stock so I'm kinda shooting in the dark rite now on jetting it.

Have a fresh top end with just barely enuf time for break in. Stock bore .Wiseco pro-lites. 21cc domes. Vf4 reeds. T6 pipes. "i know they suck but got brand new set for 300$ "stock mikuni carbs. Tors removed. Stock box. lid removed pro flo adapter with K&n filter with outerwear. Currently at 150 and 152 psi. Elevation is from 600ft to 1300ft. Mixing 32:1 with 93 octane. Stock pilots stock needle on 5th clip 1.5 turns out and 280 mains. Bike starts just doesn't wana idle cold . Do i need to up the pilot to maybe a 27.5 or go on to a .30 To cure the idle problem? Haven't really got to open up to get on the main jet because i smoked the clutch within 30 mins after the build. but I'm pretty sure i need to fatten both main and pilots?? Temp is bout 60 to 70 here in middle Tn rite now .Thanks for any input
