  1. As an update. the problem seemed to be the gas or jets. It had a little bit of left over old gas and a little gunk in the pilots even tho in had just cleaned them a week prior. New 110 in it and its running great! Thanks for the assistance
  2. As I finally got a chance to get it out, I got it running but it bogs on the bottom and will not idle for very long at all. I have the clip on the middle, and tried adjusting the air screws as well evenly. Once higher in rpms it runs great however. Any ideas? I thought pilot but I'm using the pilots suggested. And is it possible the carbs are too big for a non ported set of cylinders?
  3. I am currently running: 50 pilot cel needle and 150 main jets These were when I lived in Ohio at an elevation of 1000', and I moved to Washington state where my elevation is about 216'. The temperature will usually average between 40-70 id say approximately. My list of mods are: Keihin PJ carbs 34mm 65 mm pro-lite wiseco pistons/stock cylinders just bored out T5 pipes/silencers etc Dual Uni air filter pods/no airbox Vforce-3 reeds/cages Any suggestions would be of great help! Thank you very much!
  4. I'll have to check when I get off work. It was better than the nonexistent one that was in there now.
  5. $1.00 per bolt and $0.43 per nylon lock but at ace. Beats the $3 per bolt webstores were trying to charge for the "oem assembly bolt". Haha
  6. Thanks for the help. Going to check around today to see if I can find 2. Appreciate the help.
  7. Oh awesome thanks. So it'd be the m8x1.25 it looks like. Any idea on length, or will it matter?
  8. Does anyone happen to know the size and thread of the 2 bolts and nuts that goes on the chain adjuster assembly on the rear of the bike? I've checked around a few places and can't come up with anything.
  9. You are completely right, when I rebuilt the engine I tested it, and it was right at 175 on both sides. And yes, I am running race gas. A buddy of mine races his dragster, so he's always got some that I buy from him plus a little extra to boot for him. It looks like a shop somewhat local to me sells race fuel. Turbo blue: 100 unleaded, 110, 113 advantage, and 116 extreme, as well as VP Racing fuels, which includes C9, C12, C16, Q16, Motorsports 100, Late model plus, VP113, U4.4, and VPR. Any recommendations on which would be the way to go? Was thinking the Turbo blue 100, or 110.
  10. Yea, it seemed incredibly off, which is why I was thinking there had to be some kind of conversion to keihin, but even that would be way up there in size. Thanks for the tip with the carbs. Any suggestions how far out on the air screw once its all said and done? Ive been suggested to back it out about 2 1/2 turns approximately,
  11. Alright thanks a bunch Surfrjag, I'll give those a try. Appreciate it!
  12. Alright thanks, I forgot to mention in the first post, i've got a pro design coolhead with 18 cc domes as well.
  13. I filled out the Banshee digital toolkit with all of my info about my jetting, and it called for 250 main, 42.5 pilot, however, it seems like that may be for Mikuni jets, but I might be wrong. The carbs I have are PJ carbs, so from my understanding Mikuni jets wont work for mine, is this true, or could somebody suggest what I might need? My list of mods are: Keihin PJ carbs 34mm 65 mm pro-lite wiseco pistons/stock cylinders just bored out T5 pipes/silencers etc Dual Uni air filter pods/no airbox Vforce-3 reeds/cages It will be for 60-90 degrees, and at an elevation of about 1000. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, as I don't have any jets currently laying around to try out. Thanks
  14. If I had the money, id buy that in a heartbeat. Bump for a nice bike
  15. I'd say you got robbed for what its worth. Personally, my first 4 wheeler was a raptor, it was a gift though for my birthday, I only had to pay half (it was labeled at $3200). And to this day, I regret getting it. So I traded for my banshee, and couldn't be happier. The yfz's gonna be nice, but I wouldn't say 3 grand nice. If you would have just got a nice banshee, you would have been better, and faster off Edit: Just realized this topic is old, woops
