  1. Seems like Ricky Stator had a battery setup, not sure but it would be worth callin' or looking here: Rickystator.com I saw an ad in ATV Sport once about MSD selling a small "lossless" wiring harness to run a battery, you may find it here: msdignition.com
  2. I think it's a great idea, another thing I saw somewhere else was a "random pic" generator...of course I think both of these are based on uploaded pics into a gallery, what would be really cool would be if it could use the pics in the Images forum instead. I think there's alot more & better pics in the forum (either because it's easier to use, you can upload or just link elsewhere, or doesn't require Lee to resize/thumbnail/add to the gallery). It takes me about a day to make a wallpaper, at work depending on the other shit I gotta do (so like a few hours for tha 1280x1024), and another day to make the other sizes, thumbnails, change the wallpaper html, and upload 'em. That's assuming I got good quality pics and have a good babe image to go with it... The poll would be great I think for the next month's wallpaper. BTW Lee, I dunno if anyone else has the same problem, but I'm at my upload limit at like 200K, even though it sez I can go up to 3MB...won't let me upload anything else without deleting something. Is it just me?
  3. Hey Dune-a-tic!!! Thanks! I dunno when the next race in Texas is, they are gonna host a National TT race next year in like September or October, I'll be there for that for sure. Hopefully they will have a couple other races next summer too, I'll let ya know when I find out. How bout Kermit? Any plans to head this way anytime soon? I met some guys from Rochester, TX that are planning a trip around Christmas, if they make I'll be there. You and Conner still racin' asphalt? I'm sure tempted to set up my Banshee for drags after I get the RZ set up for TT...
  4. I'm about 50/50 between dunes and TT, lately I've been doing more racing but it's perfect duning season...
  5. LOL bignasty1! Good stuff Banchetta. Banshee_UK, have you checked out the Jetting FAQ? It might help, I know it's long but should cover the basics to more advanced help: Jetting FAQ, always free
  6. I run the Dyna FS (adjustable not programmable) and love it, I would recommend it, or the programmable if you can use it. Best price I could find was at pro-flo.com Good luck.
  7. I had mine shaved .020 and have been racing a year on it with zero problems, well worth doing in my opinion. Banchetta, by chance was he running Vito's or Magnum pistons that have a higher crown? Just a thought... Checkster, 110 is on the low side, I would go ahead and do a top end now if you can. Good luck.
  8. I agree, get the .190's. Not sure exactly what stock is but the .125's and .160's are surely lighter, for your riding I wouldn't get less than .190, and if possible beadlocks ($$$) or reinforcing rings...
  9. Did you take off the countershaft sprocket? Might be worth checking, even though it sounds like it makes the sound at idle...
  10. I wondered if you were gonna make it!! Hope you can still ride & race after you tie the knot, heh. Racin' at Tulie doesn't cost much... I was the only Amateur there this time, so all I had to do was finish to get 1st in my class. There were 3 Novices and 1 Beginner, we all ran together and I finished both motos 2nd behind a damn fast Novice on a built Banshee. The track was really wet for the first one and dry for the second, think I'll try my Holeshots instead of the Hoosiers next time and see if it helps. Next race is on December 7th, hope you can make it!!
  11. Impact wrench, you don't need to back it up with anything, should spin right off...
  12. BTW if you look at the source html in the jet faq it lists my name as the author and the date it was created, whatever that's worth...
  13. That's what I was thinkin' fixitrod, just because it's not marked as such, anything written is copyrighted by the author (although the rights may be limited without the little "c", the date and author name). If it's in the public domain you can do what you want with it (save it, give it away, etc.) but when you try to sell it that's infringement... Either this fool has some skilz or my ISP is ganked (more likely), you can still access my site here: www.dfn.com/benkaren/index.html ...and the jetting FAQ where it's always been: www.dfn.com/benkaren/jetfaq.html I'll check with my ISP tomorrow...
  14. Thanks everyone, I appreciate it. I'll let ya know if the dumbass responds at all...
  15. It's so easy to wheelie a 400ex it's not funny...I think the YFZ450 is probably just as good, and surprisingly Blasters are pretty good too. There was a wheelie contest at the Prescott race I went to, 400ex won it but the YFZ was damn close...
  16. Another thing, you could port match the top case half to the cylinders...
  17. Thanks buds, sorry you had to pay for that auction Duece, but that was cool!!! I sent him a message via ebay, won't know what he's got to say until I get home tomorrow night (I'm outta town right now)...just thought it was pretty shitty someone was trying to bank off of what's free here (and I still give alot more credit to the guys here for the info in the FAQ, I just put it all together). Fuckin' leech. BTW what's up with the forum putting the * in the f-word...c'mon Lee there's few words more versitle...
  18. Check this out: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...item=2441043184 WHAT THE f*ck DOT COM!!!! Anybody know this dickhead? Can anyone contact this f*ck and see what the deal is? I'm out of town at a class for work and have limited access...
  19. You could do the RZ shift forks/drum mod and backcut the gears like B370 did: B370's page The pushrod mod is a good idea, I gotta remember that on my RZ project... Some other stuff you might consider doing (not sure what mods you already got): lighten the flywheel port the reed cages shave the head aftermarket water pump impeller mod the timing plate or aftermarket timing plate shift star mod (see boonman!) I'm sure others will have more ideas...
  20. If it's stock, you don't need a "jet kit"...actually you don't really need to waste money on a so-called "kit" when you can just get the jets you need... When you start to make mods that affect airflow, you'll need to rejet accordingly, but to dial in a totally stock machine you shouldn't need more than the mains that are in it (usually 200 mains) or a size larger or smaller. Got some good stuff in the Jetting FAQ if you want to check it out: Banshee Jetting FAQ
  21. I rejet for winter, sometimes more than one jet size on the mains, just depends on how cold it is (mine has about a 20 degree sweet spot, over or under that and it's rich or lean). Remember that when it gets colder you'll be running leaner with the same jetting, but if the temps don't drop in your area drastically (like more than 40 degree F) you may not need to rejet at all...but if you're borderline on the lean side now and it gets real cold you could risk some damage...
  22. Nobody voted for Pop?! LOL! Nothin' better than metal to get ya ready for a ride...just got some Black Label Society (Zakk Wylde) that's damn good, and Adema, Spineshank, Dope, Godsmack, Lostprophets, etc. The new Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit cds are both great too...
  23. No doubt, 21 in human years is ancient...if you're a dog.
  24. I had to work. It sucked. Actually after I got caught up @ work from missing 2 days last week (went to the Prescott race) I thought I'd have alot of catchin' up to do at the HQ...guess not. So I looked at porn, atvscene.com, porn, thematrix.com (Revolutions on 11/5, woohoo! wife just got me Reloaded on DVD!), porn, and warcraft.com (finally got ahold of WC3)...and I dunno maybe some porn too. WHERE THE HELL IS REAS11? I got November's wallpaper done, want you to check it before I post it, time's runnin' out man: CHECK YER FRICKIN' PM.
