  1. white pipes, i wouldnt
  2. you lose top end with those but you gain bottom end, depends on your riding style, it would be great for mx or trails, not for dunes or drag
  3. if you run those you may have a problem getting the intake boots that connect the carbs to the airbox on
  4. i think it is either the kickstarter idler gear which doesnt have a sprag, or its the plastic water pump gear, just take the thing back to the dealer, if they dont fix it pull the clutch cover off and take a look
  5. can someone explain to me what they key way looks like? the side that sits in the crank, is rounded (not in the half moon way but the other way)
  6. one of my friends has engine ice it work great, maybe you should try some of that, and he also has this stuff that goes in the crankcase that is supposed to keep it cooler
  7. id say the compression is good
  8. what all did you take apart?

  10. are you sure the one with the j arms is a 1992, because they only made j arm frames from 87-90
  11. theres no reason that spark timing would increase compression,
  12. t-5 are for stock and modded engines, the t-6 are more for a stock to mild mod bikes, i would go with either of the toomeys or the fmf pipes and get a jet kit while your at it, you can probably find a set of used pipes that are in great shape, might save you a little money

  16. just take a machine screw, screw into the seal and take some pliers and pull it out, and you can see the shift shaft, look for a groove if no groove then put your new seal in, this is how i did mine, unless you want to mod the shift star then you should do it the way the other guy said
  17. well then you should be able to get that for the blaster, and where do you live? because i thought it was illegal to sell that big of a 2stroke now? but if you could get one for a good price just buy one new then you will have warranty on it if you dont know how to work on them.
  18. if your only going to have it for a year i would find one that doesnt need a rebuild anytime soon, you should be able to find one cheaper than that. but if you did buy it and run into problems the guys on here can help you through them, banshees are really easy to work on,i rebuilt the entire engine myself when i was 16 years old. i bought mine for $500 blown up needed cylinders and i ran great. if you go for a new one good luck finding one because they are no longer made, but if you do find one the resale in a year in a half is goin to suck you wont get much for it, and whats all done to the blaster? i dont know anybody that would buy one for that kinda money, if its stock anyways
  19. i had a plus 4 for awhile and didnt like it at all, when i went off a jump and got to the top the rear was still on the top of the jump and it made me nose dive, i hated it i am now back to stock length

  25. i dont know what kind of shop you work at but the gto rear end are not junk the only thing wrong with them is when you dont turn the traction control off in the 6 speeds you will smoke the clutch instead of the tires
