I really need help. This has me baffled!!

Wouldn't a bad crank seal affect both cylinders?

My bros shee..new piston rings and bore. Right side is alittle rich and the left side alittle lean. Is it common to change the "c" clip on the main jet to be in different locations from right side to left side? Just don't seem right to me. 100 psi on right, 100psi on left. Really don't understand how this can happen and how to fix it.

No we didn't do a compression test after we rebuilt it. But we will. Thanks for all the replies.....

Ya, the rubber tube is in place. I'm talking about inside the carb,I have the bowl off, the right carb has one bronze tubes, the left carb has two bronze tube (a big one and a small one). Is this correct?

My bros shee will only run on the right cylinder. We rebuilt the engine due to a broken ring and now the damn thing only runs on the right cylinder.. He disasembled the carb/cleaned and now he noticed the carbs are not the exact same.The carb is missing a bronze tube, is that the way its supposed to be????The other carb (left) has the choke knob is that why they are different? Or are missing parts?

The seal on the shifter shaft is leaking. Do I have to split the engine case to replace this seal?

By name brand, I mean yamaha, kawasaki,honda,polaris.. I may be interested in e-ton or some other makes but not the really cheap chinese crap unless they have been in business awhile. Jerry
