  1. sounds like you put the slides in the opposite carbs, since you said you screwed them all the way in an nothing happened, that makes me think thats your problem
  2. stick with weisco and they are forged, they handle high rpms better and are stronger in every way
  3. if you do the conversion kit just buy the kit it will fit right into place, if you make your own kit like i did just make sure you leave room for the radiator and the pipes

  5. looking for stock stator out of any year banshee , stator needs to be in go working condition
  6. the jetting was 280 mains stock pilots needles on middle clip, and it ran great scary fast and didnt cut out at all, so after i put the new parts on it ran like shit, so i have been messing with the jetting for the last 2 years, i think i have came to the conclusion that its the stator this is a link to a banshee that is cutting out exactly like mine
  7. no i dont have the old stuff and i think i need to get a stock stator because it has a RS in it thats prolly the reason for all the headache
  8. ok guys i need help again i still cant get my shee to run right. ive messed with the jetting and just cant get it to run right, today i moved the needles, didnt make a difference the problem i am having is in 3rd-6th gear at 1/4-full throttle it cuts out like it feels like the bike just shuts off and on then after holding the throttle for a while it will finally kick in to the power band then when i shift to the next gear same shit happens, ive checked everything over and over the timing is set at +4 pick up coild gap is .020'' tors removal kit this started to happen after i put new stator and cdi box on in 2006 still cant get it, i am about ready to get rid of it but i think its prolly something stupid right now i have 300 mains 25 pilots needles on middle clip new reeds 135psi in each cylinder rest of mods are in my sig and im at 1000 feet above sea level and it about 50 degrees here thanks guys
  9. you need to take the cylinders to a machine shop so they can mic it and see where they are really at, then they can tell you how much you need to bore it to get all the scratches out, and i would go with the wiesco kit, make sure you check your crank to see if its still in good shape, if you have a stock head i would go with the cometic gasket set
  10. ok thanks i hope this is my problem, it cuts out at mid throttle, i think i will try the stock needles and put them on the middle clip and see how shee runs
  11. can you guys explain to me what toomey needles look like I bought some carbs and they have some weird needles in them they are about 1/4 inch longer than stock and have 6 grooves for the clip to sit in

  13. does it only make noise when it cold? whats the noise sound like is it a wine noise ? and what kind of oil are you running in the crankcase?

  17. no i didnt get it from pe directly but i sent the guy an email to make sure that it had the cusions and the little bolts to put it back together

  19. well i ordered it , cost me $136 shipped with new cusions and bolts, cant wait to get it, i thought that sounded like a great price so i had to buy it

  22. is that kit just for one piston? and if you are going to buy new pistons then i would take the jugs off and measure them before buying anything, you need to find out if they need to be bored out,because they could be a little worn from running original stuff for so long, if you do need them bored go as little as possible. and weisco pistons are the best for the banshees but i think a piston kit with cometic gasket is going to run you about $160-$190 and if you need to bore it then that will cost you more
