  1. what do you mean you had to crunch the wires ? all you need to do is find a stock kill switch and plug it in to the wiring harness
  2. there is a torque sequence did you use it??? and if i were you id just retorque it after you ride it a little more because the studs will stretch (retorque when warm)
  3. the basket is in good shape but i just need to know if i can put those cusion in a stock setup and where would i buy those bolts to put it back together?
  4. is it possible to replace those cusions and just keep the stock basket?
  5. I need to know what all i need to upgrade my clutch basket, and are the stock ones supposed to have play between the basket and the gear?, and how do i put my gear on a new basket? or is my gear shot because of the play thats in it ?
  6. if you replace it you should just do a little visual inspection , and check the kick starter idler gear make sure the bushing is good and you could put a aftermarket water pump in it since you have to drain the coolant , and make sure the oring on the coolant hose is in good shape, and i like the cometic gaskets ive had really good luck with them
  7. it does have pods and toomey t-5 and is mx ported by trinity, i didnt have this problem until after the new timing plate and it used to have fmf rad valves in it with the cages, and i was running 280 mains, and it ran great , now i have stock cages and boyseen reeds. could the reeds and cages be the problem???
  8. ok i have had this problem for a while now and i need to get it fixed so please help if you can shee starts and idles great when its just sitting still in i can rev it and it is very crisp and sounds great but when i go to ride it, it starts to sputter kinda cut out at 1/2 to 3/4 throttle, like its running outta gas but its a little rich so i cant see where fuel would be the problem i have a plus 4 timing plate, brand new reeds, stock pilots, 300 mains ive tried 270 through 310 same problem, needle is in the 3rd clip, pickup coil set a .020'' tors removal, it has 135psi in each cylinder if you have any suggestions please let me know thanks

  11. it may not be stolen, i could be a j frame or the motor could be shit or something like that, i bought mine for 500, i wish i had a picture of what it looked like when i got it, it was blown up needed new cylinders and just about everything, but i like it alot now, i hope yours isnt stolen and you get to rebuild it, and maybe you should put up a few pics of it

  13. it is a mod and most guys stick to the dual carb setup, but it all depends on what type of riding you do, and yes you loose top end power, try to get a bill of sale to get it registered it will make it much easier i had to do the same thing with mine, i had it in the back of my truck and the cop was to lazy to get up in there to read the vin so basically i just made up a vin because i cant see mine either

  16. do you have a boost bottle? , is there cracks in the intakes? if i were you i would take the tors shit off, if you have a boost bottle take it off, and look for cracks in the manifolds

  18. no way will a stock corvette runs 11's but i would get the vette , the evos dont last long people get rid of them around 80,000 miles DSM suck ass, get the vette and supercharge it vortech supercharger
  19. if i were you i would go back to the 2 carb setup , the 2-1 is for low to mid power
  20. there is one on each carb to get more air turn out, to get less turn in, adjust both carbs the same and when you turn them turn them half a turn each time
  21. ok well i have only dealed with trinity 2 times, and they were fine, i bought a set of cylinders used that were ported and polished from trinity and they have the pro mx port in them and i like them alot makes my banshee fuckin fly, and i only payed $300.00 for everything with wiesco piston .030'' over on a fresh bore
