  1. My first thought is by putting the lower mount closer to the tire it would decrease the leverage of the system. Wouldn't it be a lot stiffer?
  2. I like my pipes but I also have only riden stock, T6 and these. Here is FMF's description http://www.fmfracing.com/default_detail.as...oss&cat=100 I've been wondering if there would be an advantage to have the SST or Gnarly or PT mids to the Fatty's .... Or would I even notice a difference????
  3. I hear a lot of different opinions on their performance. :pinch: Some say all around pipes, Some say Mid range pipes, and some say Top end pipes. I want a strong mid range pipe that will give some extra low grunt and still let me tweak out the RPM. Is there something better for trail riding or should the Fatty's do the trick?
  4. thanks, I'll do that. I just don't want to make it a bigger job than it has to be.
  5. I have a new set of reeds and I want to swap mine out. What is the fastest way to get to them? Do I remove the airbox then carbs to get to them? Or is there a cheat so I can avoid pulling everything apart? I know this is pretty low on the pole but just let me know
  6. The skullz look wicked, even better than the draft. Can you get a pic of it mounted? I'm surprised that I haven't seen your slotted or multi slotted ones up on eBay.
  7. Do you have to refill your rad often?
  8. What weight are they valved/sprung for? Are these for stock or +2 arms?
  9. is it just me or is something wrong with this picture? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/87-06-YAMAH...sspagenameZWDVW
  10. also does anyone know what brakes will work? Do you have to match spindles and calipers?
  11. All I'd need is a can of black paint for the fenders ... that is the full meal deal
  12. I'd ride that... but not without a gasket
  13. The online component kind of sucked choda sweat.. more mods and finer tuning ability would be nice. good concept, by far the best ATV game yet. I sold it to get a cool head
  14. do you have some pictures? damage included?
  15. pass that sh!t to the left... you're fuken up the rotation I like A arms, i've never tried J arms though
  16. Ouch... Sorry to hear about that. At least you have a chance to put in a nice new welded crank and a fresh top end.
  17. Yeah, I really like my AC too. The handles are easy to use and it looks good to boot. For just style I like the three bar ones like armadillo's. http://www.jokersracing.com/content-produc...adillo_atv.html More like the Duncan styled one I would rather take the PRM bumper. http://prm-atv.com/MN.asp?pg=products&...337&from=57
  18. I wasn't able to send it to you either. I had to send it by email. Yeah, that was the word I was looking for. (Donor). Yeah, that guy does awesome work but since he said he hasn't touched a banshee shock before it doesn't give me much trust. that is too bad about the fronts not being rebuildable.
  19. Sounds nice. How does it differ from the stock linkage? And how do you adjust it? does it have predrilled holes like a lowering link?
  20. What is the difference or advantage of having an Elka rear linkage? Elka said they can only be used with their shock. ????
  21. That's good to hear. I'll just keep them aside.
  22. Where did they go on the old domes? and how old are the 'older' ones? I got some domes off Ripruck and I'm not sure how old they are. When I placed the domes in the head I just put the rings that sit inside the head by the hole. I was thinking when I am placing the head is it okay to use vaseline to hold the rings inplace?
  23. Haven't hooked it up yet, but I've got the chrome one.... and it will look sharp. I'm only afraid that i'll have to start polishing my pipes now. Anyone know what the two smallest O-rings are for? about 1" diameter.
  24. Maybe a bit out of hand... I really just wanted to see how many people would vote on it, and possibly gain a little closure on the subject by adding a poll.
