  1. The trails vary from tight with soft sand to hard packed gravel to some more open type trails. I forgot to mention Im in Australia so sending them to someone in the US is difficult.
  2. Is the trail port more of a clean up of the ports rather than changing the port timings like a dune port? I have done some reading and found a bit about the dune ports but not a lot on the trail ports and the differences.
  3. Im new to all this and have a set of T5s, VF3s, +4 timing , 310 mains with Toomey needles, stock box no lid running a uni filter. I have a set of stock barrells that I would like to have ported. Im 200lbs and ride a mixture of dunes and trails and occasionally some big open straights at sea level so Im aiming for a wide and useable powerband. What kind of porting really suits the T5s? Many thanks
  4. If I make new upper mounts that sit higher then the shocks will become the limiting factor again rather than the ball joint, and the ride height will stay the same. decisions decisions.
  5. I had another thought of maybe making new lower mounts on the A arms to move the shock out an inch instead of messing with the frame, plus the new lower mount will mean no grinding on the shock to make it fit. Although the increased angle might make them a little stiffer where as new uppers I can move the top out slightly to make them stand up straighter.
  6. Has any one out there modded their front shock upper mounts to suit the YFZ shocks? I have a new frame which Im going to swap everything into from my bent one along with some YFZ shocks, now might be a good time to mod the mounts to suit the extra length and clearance issues. Has anyone done this before? is it worth the greif to save the ball joints? any pics? cheers
  7. Got it sorted, the RZ stator wont work on its own, it has about 20 wires coming out of it where the banshee has 4. the flywheel will work, the pick ups on the outside are slightly longer which will affect the timing, advanced or retard I dont know, pure dumb luck let my banshee flywheel survive and managed to repair the stator.
  8. So its not as easy as swapping the plugs and bolting on the RZ stator and flywheel? If I have to use the RZ CDI box, what else would I have to change?
  9. Will a RZ350 stator and flywheel work on a banshee? If so what mods are needed? While fitting my adjustable timing plate I found everything was full of rust which in turn destroyed the puller and flywheel and stator. Im trying to go riding tomorrow and cant find any banshee bits but found plenty of RZ stuff. Any help ids greatly appreciated.
