  1. For sure I'd deal with him again!
  2. That PRM z-plate looks nice I have a solid aluminum plade that only goes half way, similar to JD's just not as pretty. It made a huge difference getting over the ruts. Just slide over compared to the stock anchor getting hung up
  3. after jetting it made a huge difference engine ice probably dropped another 10 deg or so I agree keep the rad clean. I haven't over heated since, even creeping through the slow stuff. Mind you I do ride in Canada...
  4. i've got 23 razrs up front and 22 bear claws for the real soupy trails and 22 xc holeshots for more dry mixed trails. I like the clearance and my rims are offset so I don't find it tippy at all. I think if I needed to buy new tires I would go for the razr2 or try out the Kenda Kutter XC. In the rocky woody crap I ride in I'd rather they be tough than light.
  5. Good to know. yeah it's the graphite wheel paint I just picked up some gloss black to touch up the calipers and rotors so i hope they turn out as well as the wheels
  6. Figured I'd share some paint results. Lord knows my bansh would love some attention but the gsxr's first this time. I used an etching primer and duplicolor's 'granite' rim acrylic enamel. Two lessons learned 1- I used two cans and it did well but i would have liked another can to lay another wetcoat. 2- I should have used a respirator (I thought about it but not bright enough to buy it) Prepped My ghetto booth after primer and done
  7. ok i'll send you a PM when i'm set to go. I've got to drop a few bills on my bike first. Tnx again fort he info
  8. Just checked out your web page. 85 for a re-valve and 40 for a new seal. Sounds good Would you recommend a new/stiffer spring? I got this shock off a member and it squats damn low. Or would a rebuild with some valve work do it? I'm about 200 on a stock swingarm on racetech's website their calculator says Recommended Rear Spring Rate: 7.13 kg/mm .... seems like a big difference thanks for advice
  9. Pulled to make a local deal for some gold valves... please delete ad
  10. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320649437942&viewitem=&sspagename=STRK%3AMESELX%3AIT i'm going to try my hand at selling with ebay... here is the first listing
  11. You might be SOL if you want to run your fullbore. The clarke one is sexy shit. I had the 5.7 ims and didn't like it because I couldn't run my CR low bend bars. But most trips I make it back with a little slop in the bucket, so I pitched it.
  12. I heard they are italian chains.(no experience there) I'd try them but I've always had great luck with RK and DID. For the price i'll probably stick with them.
  13. pink sock eh.... http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pink%20sock ohhhh you said pink shock.. nevermind
  14. If you are running lean that could be an issue to start. I like the faster warm up time with the advance. I use engine ice instead of regular coolant, it's supposed to keep it cooler. But i haven't ever had issues with overheating.... I'll count myself lucky
  15. you should fit a rz350 motor into the DRZSM. I rode my neighbors DR, 440 bore, yosh system, upgraded cdi and lowered (he is short). It was one of the most exhilarating rides i've had on the street. Might have been because there is no knee out riding with these things.
  16. She did pretty good this year since jetting, + timing, front shocks, new gearing, new clutch, and some JD punisher bling
  17. I forgot here is a pic of my dirty lil thing
  18. JD just started doing decal kits. he always has cool ideas I think blacked out with some blue bits looks sweet. a lil yami pride and you could keep your plastics
  19. I'm pretty sure that there are a lot of friction modifiers in ATF. Which is the big no no in wet clutches. There is a logo on the back of motor oil that shows if it has friction modifiers or not. I have a couple jugs of full synthetic Shell Rotella waiting to try. One of my friends has been racing gsxrs for years with that and swears by it.
  20. ahhh fhawk... my wrinkled balls are felling old today too, pushing 31 I looks fn sweet together with the cases PC'd
  21. I'd like to coat a bunch of the shee's parts (swinger, arms, nerfs, bumper, rims... etc.), my gsxr and truck could use some parts. If i could do parts as big as my bikes rims I'd think it would be worth it. I'd love to do both my frames but It seems like that won't be doable without a custom rig. Would you mind posting a pic of your extension that you mentioned for the oven? i was joking about it being an ezbake. just asking if it was a DIY setup
  22. my wife fell off the back when we where riding in the Crowsnest Pass a couple months ago. She'll come out for the drinking but no more riding for her... lol She's a bit of a delicate flower anyways, I didn't see any bruises. but then again she won't even get on the back of my street bike anymore either. Oh well more toy money for me.
