  1. I want to throw this out there and see who bites... I've got stock front shocks and want some YFZ450's. and I've got FMF Fatty's and want to swap them for some Gnarly's.
  2. I'm riding trails and the shock I just got is really soft with the preload maxed out and adjustments dialed in. I'm not sure if it is bunk or if banshees are soft all around. I also don't mind if it sat up a little more either. I'm planning to get YFZ shocks for the front and need to do something with the rear. My first thought was to get a eibach spring for my weight (I'm 195lbs, stock swinger), which ever one that is. Possibly getting it revaled also. that sounds like it will cost me 300-400 BUCKS!! Just saw a craptor rear shock and it seems like it might bolt on with a little work and want to know if it might save me some loot.
  3. Great stuff Kiel! Thanks again!
  4. http://www.bansheetube.com/user_video_detail.php?mId=6963 WOW, who is running the bike on the bottom? AWESOME!
  5. THANKS Grim! Who did your signature pic? Looks bad ass! Anyone know how much a nice pair of fron yfz shocks should cost?
  6. No complaints, she was running great all weekend on that 20:1 crap... still have a bit more to burn off but next weekend I'll be using my jug of 32:1
  7. I was thinking about mocking up my own set if I heard that would be worth the time. I'm not sure when I would do it but I figured I'd get some info first.
  8. What's your take on velocity accelerators? The idea seems solid but are they any good for stock carbs? or at all? Here is one from Jeff's joint ... http://www.farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=157 I'm not sure if anyone makes em' for stockers either....
  9. Do they come with gaskets? (not sure if you need em?) any cracks in the reeds?
  10. Let me know how much you want to let them go for.
  11. PM for clutch lever and reeds.
  12. not yet, I'm going to drain the tank and go riding this weekend, overkill maybe?? What do you think if I just topped it up with the new gas and different oil?
  13. You bought stock almost new for 40? Or some nice aftermarket ones?
  14. rockymountainatv.com has front sprockets for 10 a piece. i'd say get a 13 and a 14 to see what you like better. have you cleaned your carbs? you could just be gummed up.
  15. Okay, I've never jetted and don't know what I have. Is there a good way to tell what I have for jets?
  16. how much do you want for the chrome set of gnarly's?
  17. These ones are brighter than my old ones, but the original bulb connectors are rusted and don't give off much light at all. I wish I had a set of your TT's, but they are expensive. Are the trail techs 35w? I just put on a rear LED tail light last week also. What stator upgrade would you recommend?
  18. I put on a pair of 20w headlights. I think they will be good on the system by putting less draw on the stator. Is there any negative issues that I should be concerned about?
  19. I was thinking about a 43 but everywhere I look I see 40 - 41 - 42 OR 44 no 43..?? Does anyone know or can measure the diameter of a 42 and a 44 tooth sprocket?
  20. I forgot to mention I'm running 22" rubbers and I'm 95% climbing and trail blazing. Anyone running a -2 up front?
  21. I bought a 13 front thinking that I had a stocker in there and found that is what I was already running.. I want some more bottom end and was thinking about changing the rear. How big of a rear can I fit without grinding the swing arm skid plate? I was thinking +2 or +3... Or should I go down to 12 on the front? Whacha think????????
  22. Nice bike, that looks like a lot more clearance then the other yzf450 set up's .... is that from the elka's or how did you do that with those arms?
  23. what is stock gearing again?
  24. Okay, I'll call around. I didn't even look at the chain when I bought the RK. THANKS FOULE
