  1. It's been fun to watch and will be nice to see who wins. Nicely written article too. Good job, wish I could be there.
  2. How big are your nuts? Chariot Performance sent me their head with some taller acorns. I'd rather run either thicker washers or taller acorns. Less chance for a leak.

I really don't expect to get many bites on this but .... ims or whatever large capacity tank for mine plus some change let me know what you think
  4. Looks nice. I like the two piece design! Looks like something else to save up for now... same question as stroker... would you make a trail version? maybe something plane jane or anodized black?
  5. Wow.. I've never seen a set of Fullbores on a bike with stock pipes
  6. http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=reach+around I think #2 states it pretty well
  7. When do you plan on going? I'm not big for long weekends either. less riding gets done. What are the trails up at Brule lake like? I'm planning to go to Crowsnest Pass a bunch this year, so if anyone wants to go there I'm in.
  8. He has a bunch of random stuff... 1 pro design cool head. Used head with 21cc used domes and 19cc new domes 1 used stock head with studs. 9. anyone try either of these???
  10. I've got a chance to get a box of parts and I'm not if it is worth buying. And he doesn't want to separate the lot of stuff. Here is some of the bigger ticket stuff that I don't know anything about. New Alba action shift cylinder/cam. has rust from sitting so it needs some buffing but not used Billet terrycable throttle (Blue) He has some things that I need but there is a bunch of random stuff that I'll be selling if I get it.
  11. I'm pretty sure the 08 was the last year for Canada
  12. That was a nice touch. I'll probably be calling him up with a list within the next week or two. I just threw that in because I've heard that certain oils can wreck the fibres and I didn't like much of what the last owner was doing with it.... Really fishing to see what people think about the pads being stuck together Anyone know about the grabby clutch?
  13. You know the economy is bad when... he was prolly laid off and has way to much time on his hands. That was just nasty... And for the $400 stock pipes.... LOL I tried to get $20 for mine and now they are just sitting in the corner waiting for my next dump run.
  14. I zip tied the clutch open and inspected the plates. (not really knowing what to look for except for damage) It took some effort with my finger nails to separate. I blew it off with the compressor and it made them a little better but still sticky like magnets. Should they be loose? or what should I expect?
  15. I priced it out and it put it all above 100. 100 would be nice for all of that... I'll have to price it again. I'm hesitant to get the tusk clutch, is it as good as EBC or whatever name performance ones? You can see them, but I couldn't even feel the grooves in the basket. I figured it was fine.
  16. Hey guys, The clutch is dragging. I've adjusted it inside and out. It is much better but still jumps a little, I can find neutral about twice a day, and going down a hill if I have the clutch fully disengaged the engine still revs to the speed I'm rolling at. I was thinking about buying a pancake anyways and I figure I might have to change some parts while I'm in there. The basket has little rub marks but it's smooth. The plates and fibres stick together (I don't know if that's normal) I'm afraid it might be from the last owner using 80w gear oil. anyways... Do you think I need new inner or outer hubs, or new plates and fibres? Everything or nothing? TNX AGAIN
  17. I found a spanner in my 87 cbr's tool bag... Free is good! If you have a bike wrecker near by it might be worth a look. or here is a tusk one from rmatv http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/productD...dFamilyId=19026
  18. eh.... I realized it after i sent it. whatev Sand fest sounds like I'll need to save up some beer/gas/paddle money
  19. spinnin I'll send them off savage, I'm sure you have some wicked river shots eh? BTW Where are your sand pics from?
  20. That's pretty neat. The backgrounds should be environments though. Tracks, dunes and trails. All I have is mountain trails
  21. Yours is one of my fav bikes.. that and NY's There could be '09 to the end of '10 callender here easy. Sign me up! Here are some old pics I'll try and get some new ones with this years mods
  22. The way it was explained was that the kick itself is the same but it won't carry the same momentum and potentially stall. Finding the right shop to have it done and balanced correctly would be important too.
  23. IMO that's like saying having a snagletooth skank that weighs 100lbs with a wet box is the same as having a sexy hot thick hided latina that weighs 100lbs with a wet box. Both will get the job done but which do you preffer? more or less...
