If you are running better with the choke out, you need to go bigger on the mains.

Try going up on the mains. I used to run 320's with fattys and open air box at sea level. Have you checked the plugs?

Your ring end gap seems huge. I thought the minimum should be 0.004" for every inch diameter of the piston. Stock bore = 0.010"

Other than race gas leaving no ring, how much difference does octane make? 91 or 93. Sorry, don't mean to jack your thread, but it has come up a few times

The drain plug is for the transmission only. The crank case is totally separate. splitting the cases is the only way you can be certain it is all clean. If you are certain it is only 1 piece, it may come out with the motor upside down. But you wont really know if you got everything. -
What have you done to the airbox. Lid, snorkel etc. You will probably need a 27.5 pilot

If you have 28mm flat slide carbs you don't have any TORs anymore. It is already gone.

That only will give an overall idea of jetting after riding for at least a half hour. You cant check your plugs against it after a WOT run.

Definitely scary. There was a post on here about the magnet coming out of a drain plug and grenading the guys tranny. If I remember right it was Snopzinski (????spelling) who posted
