  4. if you are running a 35 pilot then something IS wrong. try a leak down test too see if there is a leak somewhere.
  5. with that fat ass jetting i'm surprized your shee even idles. 35 pilot is way way too big. drop it down to 27.5 and mains at 360(might still be fat) with needle fourth clipe down TOWARDS taperd end. give that a try

  9. that kit comes with the base spacer plate so you shouldnt have to mill your head or get domes if you have a coolhead. i say shouldnt cuz i havent gotten that far with mine so let me know how that kit works :laugh:

  11. sounds like an air leak to me. also sync the carbs and make sure the idle screw is even on both sides. all the way one way or the other is too much. spray around the rubber intakes too see if it is infact and air leak. with k&n you will need to bump the mains up 1 or 2 sizes

  15. dont wanna sound like a dick or nothing but it is good car for an impala but to make one into an ss . for being a sport car it looks like shit(for a sport). i'm not saying that the car sucks just saying it should look more sporty for all the hype i heard about them. expecially with the smart engine. i agree that a gto would be good choice or maybe one of those dodge challengers, they are bad ass.

  17. wow alot of questions...haha ok do a search to find what to look for when buying a shee. if you do a fresh top end and keep it maintained it will be no different then my 00. if you arnt used to the power they make stock ones arnt bad by that i mean it will have alot more top end then the ltz. and you actually made me laugh a little when you said if they have torque on top end. banshee's are more expensive when it comes to maintaince have double of everything. a stock one should be able to beat the ltz400 if you can ride. BUT you said it needs everything for top end? it is still worth the trade but if you need cylinders then you will be looking at a pretty penny to get it going.
  18. also with a ratio of 25-1 it might not be able to burn all oil out. either way what all happend i can gaurantee it isnt going to be cheap at the stealership
  19. if you dont want top end i wouldnt go with T5's. fmf has more bottom end but if you want even more for slow riding with the kids look for a set of gnarlys.

  21. 40-1 is the leanest i would ever go with a shee but i run 32-1. i'd take the head off and check the cylinders for scoring
  22. i agree 30 pilot is big. dropping a size down shouldnt effect anything but will make it leaner. this is ofcourse after you make sure the carbs area clean
