  1. i wouldnt even go that far. i'd much rather have gummed up carbs then risking running out the gas untill it dies! but then agian mine dont sit too long
  2. when i first got mine i riped down a dirt road and it kept trying to wash out on me. proper tire pressure on high speeds is important. that would be the first thing i would check.
  3. havent rebuilt my top end yet but they recommend running the engine for 20 or so minutes untill it gets hot then shut it off and let it cool completly. repeat a few times. i'm not saying ur method is bad (i dont know it) but that is what i hear. but check those o rings and hopfully nothing happend to the head.
  4. you said it was your 3rd ride since rebuilding.did you do the proper break in for the engine? not sure if that would cause coolant in the cylinders but i know it wouldnt be good on the top end...
  5. i think its pretty normal for one side to smoke more then the other right after start up but after it warms it shouldnt be noticable. as for the smoke seeping out of the silencers that wouldnt mean that the bike is overheating if thats what you were worried about. maybe you need to repack your silencers?
  6. mine does the same thing. for what it cost buy a rebuild kit or 2 that way when it happens agian you will have one ready. i havent heard of any banshee that does not have the kickstart problem.
  7. thanks man your prolly right i wasnt thinking four stroke...
  8. i was looking around on rockymountain and saw these http://www.rockymountainatv.com/productDet...dFamilyId=12931 do they work with any fmf silencer or are they just replacment for turbine core 2. thanks
  9. try cleaning the carbs you may have a semi stuck float.
  10. haha
  11. yea i know i wasnt going to use starting fluid... maybe for a car but NOT a 2 stroke
  12. i'll try my best to make it out. stock banshee will be put to shame though....
  13. right i hear you there man f@ck these new owner
  14. i cleaned the air filter already so i i'll check plugs and clean the carbs thanks
  15. i have a 2000 completly stock bike right now and when i go to start it the thing takes like 20 kicks from cold. i know that i need to clean my carbs but is this the reason it takes forever to start? my foot hurts from kicking by the time i get her breathing smoke.
  16. i don't believe power cores have spark arresters. turbine cores do. also i don't think even a stock banshee will pass the 94 decible limit. a stock 250cc four stroke got tested at silver and was 87.
