  5. I am running this setup but porting is done by Jeff at FAST. If you are going from bolt on only setup to this, you will be very pleased. Its like night and day. I know that both Jeff and Kevin do great work. You will not be disappointed!
  6. Thanks for the offer JDS, but I went with the dura blue poly something skid plate. Gonna give that a try if it doesnt hold up I will def give u a shout.

  8. +2 On Jeffs work. Without a doubt you will be spanking them if you have your stock cyl's ported. Jeff is a super nice guy to deal with and his work is second to none.
  9. And have a mean looking block head? I already read that thread...some good info in there but not what I was looking for. Why was it developed? What are the gains vs stock, and more importantly, the gains vs stock ported?
  10. I rebuilt my motor about a year ago and I dont remember any mention about Serval Cats then....Obviously is a monoblock cylinder but what really makes em tick? What is the advantage over porting stock cylinders, which I did? Post away!

  12. You are not getting spark so stay on that track. Your pickup gap is too big...it needs to be at .020...We know its not a wiring problem because you said it ran for a bit. Set your pickup gap and try it.

  18. I run Vito's Hemi Head 2. DONT BUY IT if you ever plan to do a 4mill stroker with stroker cut domes and do not have access to a lathe. For some reason, they cut the neck of their domes (O/D where the spark plug threads in) down to 1.002-1.000. Pro Design, Noss Machine hell everyone runs like 1.008-1.010. Everytime I buy domes I have to modify them....Vito's doesn't make/sell stroker cut domes. I also noticed that when whomever milled this particular head flipped it over for the 2nd op, they didnt get it aligned to the machine PERFECTLY so there is a little step in the through hole where the aboved mention dome slides in. Vito's does, however, cut an oring groove in the neck so when you put the dome in the head, it stays put. No need for a spark plug, but then again everytime I have to buy an oring set its $19 and then another $12 something for shipping. BS!

  20. Check to make sure your shift shaft seal is not the culprit - if it leaks it will appear that the seal behind the sprocket is leaking because there will be oil all over that area. A bent shift shaft will leak even with a brand new seal
