  1. Bent my swingarm last weekend, I guess I may have landed too hard from a jump and maybe a little crooked.... Maybe it was just weak and getting old!! But hell the TCS shock has only bottomed once when I cased it and did not notice the bend then.... But, after inspecting my frame, I noticed a weld being stressed.. So I am thinking that it may be time for a Laeger frame for the mighty Shee!!! I am in wonder as to how much better the 250R geometry is for MX? Can someone please explain this to me.. I have been told so many times how Shees are not made for MX and so forth because of their geometry and $hit!! But when I go tro inquire what they are talking about, their is usually not a straight reply!! My motor is setup to fly, but back in need of some fine tuning! I went cryting to an engine builder and he advanced my timing 11
  2. I recently installed a TCS SCS rear conversion shock on my Shee, I was hoping for a low ride height, (My Bro has an Elka and it sits LOW), Do I just losen up on the rear spring to lower the bike? Will this screw up the ride upon landing from a jump? It does not bottom right now, However, the TCS fronts will bottom from time to time, although once I land where I am supposed to, I am sure that they will not bottom anymore, there is some monster doubles at my local track and I came up short a few times and cased it soo hard that I knockwed my front in out of line (OW)... I am going to break my bike down later tonight to clean her, and would like to lower it a tad while I have it apart... Thanx for your help.... It is too damn wet here to even think about riding for the next week!! So I may as well get her ready for the next outing...
  3. What about getting a dremel tool with a polishing pad on the dremel and applying some muthers to the polishing pad and shining away?? Has anyone done this? I was thinking about improving the luster to some of my bike parts as well as the pipe... Any comments?
  4. Yeah Led Said it just right dude.... I was in the exact same predicament last year when I was ordering all of my stuff!! I was just mesmorized by all of the stuff and crap out there for the Mighty TWIN! I was like a tree blowing in the wind, but not going anywhere!! Finally, I did some engine builder research, made some phone calls, took out my motor and had it done all at once!! Thank God, now I have an individual that knows his stuff and can guide me through all of the decisions of performance (although I still seek others opinions every once in a while) and all I have to do is send him the money!!LOL..... But, I was looking at CPIs' a year ago, and all of the top MXers' stated just as Led Zepplin said above, "there are way better pipes for MX." I personally have CT MX pipes on my CT 370LR and she pulls HAAAARRDDD!! From idle and revs to the moon W NO FLAT SPOTS!!!! I am sure that there are other factors involved such as the 17cc domes, or the port job, or maybe the Delta V-Forve Reeds are a factor as well....... But I Dig dose pipes!! She sounds sooo sweet as well!!
  5. Vitos are only for a 'Port job of a Shade Tree Mechanic'...... My builder, who builds world renown motors only uses Wiseco then Pro-X.... He knows what he is doing because he has built the fastest Shees that DOMINATE the Pikes Peak climb, as well as many other popular events...
  6. It depends upon what type of environment you will be riding in... If you are riding in sand then use a K&N w/outerwear, if you are riding in another ypre of environment then use a foam... The K&Ns' are great airfilters, but they do have their applied application.. One thing that you do not wish to do is let a lil dust, or 'environmental-residue' get sucked up into your engine..... Then you will do with all sorts of havoc and expenses!! Basically, if it is only a dune bike, go w/K&N, if you are riding in various applications and NOT JUST Sand, then go w/a foam... That is my .02/worth....
  7. So are there any negative affects with +3 up1 if you are ordering shocks at the same time?? If you are not racing nationals, these are the ticket huh?? The wider the better right?? Or are there some un-wanted effects of this width?

Fun! + Pro Design Cool Head W/17cc domes, Delta V-Force reeds, CT MX pipes, Barnett Clutch Plates......... Chasis mods are coming and should be finished in about 5 weeks or so.....!!!! She is a torquey lil bitch!! From right off of idle all the way to the top end SHEE does not quit pulling.... I feel like it will be just the right motor for MX.... If she is not, then I will re-evaluate my situation and go from there...... But I have a good feeling that she is going to be a sweet lil hottie on da track!! This year I will finally get to put her on da MX track!!
