  1. I think the timing at WOT is -4. Assuming the range on the map is 8K-10K
  2. Aren't those the ones with the sealed bearings? if they are they are a steal at that price!
  3. Speedy~~ Your machine is a trench digger but a blast to see run I would try to stay just to the side of it if I could. On the issue of cooling I can't say it helps, but my machine has never overheated with it.
  4. I run one and couldn't be happier with it. You can hear rocks pinging it which tells me it works. Mine is stainless and cleans easy and was around $50 if I remember right. If your Banshee is stock and you are riding with guys whose Shees are faster its a must.
  5. I could use those pipes and if I had some loose cash around I'd buy that thing.
  6. This is the all around best deal IMO if you are going to buy new out of the box arms: Wicked A Arms
  7. Not a big fan of Heim joints. Wicked Arms sells a kit for not much more than that and it has the heavy duty ball joints and has good quality Tie Rods. Not saying you didn't get a good deal, but not sure it was worth 300 used. Of course, those look clean in the pic.
  8. An '84 RM500 engine will bolt right in it. Can be found if you look hard enough. The RM500 was a beast and a number of people totalled theirs so finding an engine shouldn't be too hard.
  9. Will it help with "Arm Pump"?
  10. just click on the state where you live: Tracks to race on Places to practice on
  11. No matter what your getting a deal on that. The chassis on those are pretty tough. A friend of mine is saying that is most likely an XL 250 motor.
  12. Make sure you use Cold rated two cycle oil in your mix. Regular oil can break down and cause a whole lot of starting and running issues.
  13. You have to occasionally re-jet your browser. This is a two stroke site, re-jetting is mandatory.
  14. Launch a pic. I'd like to see what you come up with and I'll prolly want one.
  15. I am now running the Moose double-walls with the High CR bend. Really nice bars.
  16. PWKs aren't as bad as some of the Mikunis for the reason that if the needles get loose or bent a wide open throttle can stick open. Be careful what you wish for.
  17. We occasionally see above freezing temps here in Indiana. I can still ride in November here in Indiana but can't in NY. Also, March is a lot better in Indiana than it ever was in NY. Where I live near Muncie we don't get 200+ inches of snow either.
  18. Glad I don't live in Rome or Old Forge anymore. 5 month winters are just not my style.
  19. I think the fastest is the Suzuki LTR.
  20. I run a Twin Air foam on my CR and and a UNI on my RM, and they are all great filters, but I thought you had to run an outerwear regardless on a K&N for Max protection. The K&N allows max air to flow and the outerwear keeps the micro particles from compromising its protection. At least that is how I understood the system to work.
  21. The Raptor is a good open country hauler but they are hard as hell to ride on a track with. They feel like a tank. The YFz is a better all around quad but they take some getting used to.
  22. Its getting to the point where I am actually thinking about trading my '88 Honda CR for one. I love that bike and its quick as all get out, but another Banshee would be a sweet addition to my shop. Yeah, I think you did allright.
  23. Yes, and $400 isn't asking an arm and a leg for that.
  24. Hi.....My name is stan, and I'm a Bansheeholic. {{{{{{{{{{{Group Hug}}}}}}}}}}}}}
  25. Life on two wheels as you knew it will soon be history. I still like my MXers for mixing it up from time to time, but I always look more forward to time on the Banshee. Welcome to the site! Your checkbook is going to hate us.
