  1. Sounds like the gas was left or pingel leaked at some point and leaked into the cases, it will be a bitch to start but once it cleans out it will be fine. Mine did the same thing when we went to Glamis for presidents weekend
  2. I just added some lonestar +2 and like fouledout said my tire used to rub and now they clear and it keeps the whellies to a minimum. cant think of any cons besides it takes up more room in the trailer.

  5. it could be caused by a couple of things. One the piston colapsed and was loose in the sleeve, or the exhaust port is too wide allowing the piston to rock putting pressure on the skirt. Or over revving the bike. I have had three pistons do this and cant nail down exactly what the cause is. Are the piston windows opened up? Some will say that causes it also but I still cut mine. Hope this helps

  8. It should list 2 number +1+2 the first one is how much wider and the second is much farther forward from stock. like in my sig -1 +2 so they are -1 inch wider and 2 inches out the front.
  9. I have done both, when I first built my bike i converted the stock carbs to alky and it ran great. Then when I got some more money i went to 39mm pj. It ran better put cant complain about the stock carbs. T5s are a great pipe but if your going for the racing which it sounds like you are you will need to go to a bigger pipe like CPI or shearer.
  10. I tried running a set of uni filters and couldnt get enough air through them. If you do drain your bike a lot or pull the clutch cover off engine ice is worth it in my opinion.

  18. For starters there is only 1 e in uwenr. Second you have just rubbed me the wrong way from day one with your post about going to your local ttrack and beating everyone. Your such a douche bag, there is alot of fast bikes on here and you post up "went to the local spot for the first time with the shee, actuallyu the first ride since i bought her they have mx track, 330 ft dirt drags and miles and miles of trails, hillclimbs etc.... well after riding some trails we headed straight for the drags, this is however where i felt at home because ive dragged streetbikes for some time....i outran everyone at the spot probally 20 different guys all on 4 bangers everyone swearing up and down i had motor work, how much money ive spent etc etc....I went with a good friend with a 03 shee.... T5's, v3s, ported and shaved head, 36mm Keihns stock gearing and wasnt impressed at all.....i beat him everytime, even let him leave first and still pulled him..... granted he did have some slick ass tires but still.... his is got to be tuned wrong or something he should kill me with the mods he has.... my mods are fmf fattys, uni filter, lid still on airbox, +4 timing, cool head 21cc domes.... -1 front sprocket.....260 mains at sea level..... either these guys cant ride or im just that fast or just that damn good lol....... neways just wanted to share my experience! some asshole was on a 700 raptor piped getting his ass toasted in the drags then had the nerve to tell me after i won straight line dont mean shit.... i laughed and said yea it does, it means im faster! banshee ftw![/size] Third talk about names "IEAT4STROKES" it should be DOUCHE BAG!

  21. Just my 2 cents, with it sitting that long you need to clean the carbs good, the idle circuit is plugged. With a backfire out of the carbs you need to check the reeds, could have blown a reed out. Mixing ratios are on the back of the 2 stroke oil bottle, stick to 32:1 and you will be fine. Im all about saving money, I wouldnt buy half the crap that R Rollins said if your not a complete retard you will be fine. Just post a problem on here and these guys will help you out. Tors are the carb tops that are huge cant miss them, just need new caps and cable to convert them, it will save you alot of headaches. After you get it running let the mods begin, it is never ending good luck.

  23. Save your money just mill your head and get a ricky stator timing advance plate. Measure your squish, you want it to be between .030 and .040 that will tell you how much to mill off.   24. Have air in the system. Make sure your pumping then cracking the bleeder and closing it as soon as the fluid stops. If your leaving the bleeder open it will suck air past the threads.
  25. also how do these UNI filters do in sand riding? they are opened so there isnt anything but oil to keep the sand out just wanting to clear it up before i hit the dunes thanks. Uni filters suck in my opinion.
