The last I looked a ZX14 wasn't in a 2 stroke class so I dont think that would work. At planet sand they have class sizes(2 stroke limited 0-370 so that would be comparing apples to apples. Maybe all the inbreeding in Tenn. you ended up with some good racing genes.

That flywheel looks like shit. I would run it, you can ruin a flywheel just by dropping it on the ground and cracking the magnets inside which changes the polarity and the bike will run like shit

Be careful that it does warp the flat side case where the two peices bond together, and have an air leak. Speaking from experience I had my cases welded and after a few rides i was leaking air. Had to split the cases again and covered the weld with jb weld to seal it. Its a bitch chasing a air leak. Lay the Yama-bond heavy where you getting them welded.

They come in two pieces a top and a bottom. From the location of the crack it looks like it would have got the bottom of the sleeve. But by the time you buy cases, cylinders and a crank your going to be up around what you could pick up another drop in motor. If it was mine i would JB weld the hole and sand it out, your sleeve slides over that part anyways.

The top case has a hole towards the rear for a speedo cable. I believe there is a thread on here for pluging it. $65 is a steal

Drop it in some diesel fuel and let it set in there for a day. It will clean all the crap off and lossen up the kinks.

As hot as it gets here be careful. I tossed mine but i ran my overflow tube through the hole by the coil where all the wires and cables go through and cut it about six inches after that. So if it does get hot it will drip on the exhaust and you can smell it.

You can switch the reeds but not the carbs, one has a choke and the other has the crossover tube. It could be a stator problem.

I-10 west of town to Sun Valley Parkway. Sun Valley Parkway north about ten miles to mile marker 118, there will be a dirt road going west. Follow that road about a mile it will curve to the north you will cross a little bridge docvered in dirt take a left and follow that down to the river bottom.

We drag race in a river bottom on the far westside almost every Sunday during the winter and Saturday night during the summer. If anyone needs direction I'll post them.
