  1. This is a reply I sent to my good customer Ruko. If this makes sense to anyone reading please post some replies. I also thanked him for his honest review and am thankful for his input in helping me to best reccomend this product for the correct setups. "I just thought of something. Do you have a means of measuring the temp of your cylinders and head etc, not just your outlet hose? I use an infrared (laser) thermometer gun ($50.00 or so). On my personal bike which I only use really for setups I have a 4mm cub on pump gas and before proper tuning it measures about 220 example on the outlet hose but on the cylinders and head except at the exhaust it measures 145 to 150 usually. The same on the cases. I am wondering if in these instances where the temp doesn't change on the outlet it still is cooler everywhere in the cylinders and around the head domes but really gets it's heat at the exhaust. "

Do you have a means of checking this on your bike? Thanks Jerry I am gonna post this in the forum to get some feedback.
  3. Thanks for the review. Of course I would like to have heard it made a difference on your setup. We have only a few reviews so far with mixed results. Sometimes it has made a difference and sometimes it has not. Thankfully we haven't had any results which showed a worse outcome then before. As more people review and use this impeller setup hopefully they will post reviews here so we can figure out which setups benefit the most and which don't seem to care. Thanks again for the honest reviews. Jerry
  4. Ya, I also rarely phrase my words correctly. I rely on my actions to support my intended word.
  5. Good and that is what I would require with any intake. I wasn't wanting to knock the boss intakes themselves but a choice to attach inferior 3rd party boots to their intakes.
  6. A very simple fix is to buy our intakes. We engineer them correctly and use only Mikuni Boots. You will always be risking air leaks with other boots. Other boots don't last as long either. Sometimes you get what you pay for.
  7. Try ours, you will love them. If you don't like them I will refund your money even if they were on th e bike. We have never had to refund money on these cages. chariot reed cages
  8. If you are asking for our bowls, you won't need the washers. It is possible on some of our first style bowls that there was a surface line which would allow a very slight leak. On our new bowls the surface where the culprit bolts seat against is very flat and smooth. The bolts will seal against the surface on their own. Jerry Those bolts are 4mm
  9. Where are you from and do they have 2010 banshees out or is 09 the last year.
  10. All the impellers rub on the cover. There is no problem with that.
  11. I don't know how they work with nitrous but they should work great. Boyesen reeds, I believe work well with nitrous. Jerry
  12. I don't mind all the discussion in this thread staying here. It completely missed me that ours could also leak around the bolts which hold the plate to the carb. I just adjusted the program so that the bolts (which tend to leak) will tighten down on the aluminum forming a good seal. The problem with other's bowls and our first bowls would have been if there was a cutter mark through the surface that the bolt head tightens down to. I haven't heard of any of ours leaking but this change in our program should eliminate the possibility. I have never seen K&T bolws so I can't compare them to ours. We don't have the plugs on the bottom of the bowls for the main jet changes because the effective volume of fuel available to the main jet would be drastically reduced. They would also present clearance issues when making the bowls as large as they are.
  13. We have never had a problem with the orings leaking. We have them squish about .015" to .02". In addition we take great care in our machining to have the sealing surfaces to within .005" flatness. Even outside of this flatness our design allows for the sealing areas when fastened together to clamp together along the wall or length between the bolt holes. Jerry
  14. Yes, we tend to be. I keep adding a little more info to the replies than needed. Thanks
  15. No but it is type 2 anodizing. From what I understand/know, type two is the best anodizing for color especially bright. There is only one place I know of which does what is known as hard anodizing and has color other than black (dull). That hard anodizing with color has ugly color and is nowhere near what a bright dip is. "Hard anodizing" is not any harder than what we have done as bright dip but it goes a few thousands deeper. For wear characteristics either are great but bright dip is limited for resistance to impacts because it is much thinner. Even diamond coating on soft material is limited because of the thickness. I believe this is correct. Jerry
  16. Not sure what this question really is but our stuff is made by us completely except fasteners. We have our anodizing and chrome work done out of house but locally. Jerry
  17. The reed cages work great with all intakes but as with anything else perfectly matched is better.
  18. I should have written it down. I filled up ours and the boss bowls and ours held just a hair more. From what I understand the boss bowls held more than any other. Our old bowls held alot but not as much as Boss bowls. We wanted to make that claim so we made our's larger but addressed all issues.
  19. Black anodized bright dip. True anodizing
  20. We now offer our Stator Covers and Bearing Supports in Black as well as our Ultralight Covers. BLACK Stator Covers/Bearing Supports
  21. We have reed cages again after being out for a few months. We have them listed singly plain and black and plain also in a combo with matched intakes. reed cages and intakes Chariot
  22. We now have bowls which hold more than any other keihin bowl. Even the "other guy" is under ours slightly. We also profiled the bottom even on our larger bowls so it does not hit the case!! keihin bowls
  23. I believe they will work fine. We will see!
