  1. This is very good. Different setups and engines in different states of tune reporting back. Thanks Jerry
  2. As of now I plan on making some two piston and four piston all opposing rear calipers. My guess is that the dual piston will work just slightly better than a dual piston yfz450 caliper and the four piston will satisfy all other requirements. Just a guess so far but we'll see. Thanks
  3. Thanks for the pictures. The 250r caliper looks a lot like the earlier yfz450 calipers. We are making a lot of progress on the caliper design. I expect we will have some done in about 6 weeks. Thanks again for all the info and suggestions.
  4. I know for the drag guys they remove front brakes. How many people would be interested in dual piston front brakes as well? Desert guys? Asphalt guys?
  5. Even with removing the heat shield you still have 1/8" gap which really is not a problem because there isn't anything in there which needs sealing. Fit's perfectly under all the aftermarket covers I have seen.
  6. Does it stop much better than stock but not as well as you need?
  7. I have been thinking about that and from what I understand you have to constantly adjust the setup with zero drag because of the gap between the pads and rotor. On regular trail riding etc that gap could cause some serious problems if rocks and dirt get lodged in there and they will. We may have to have zero drag for the drag racing guys and regular for the standard crowd. Right now I am leaning toward no zero drag on any. The gap is still bothering me.
  8. Who has experience with billet dual piston brakes for Banshee? We are considering making some and was wanting input from hqr's on improvements to be made and anything helpful. Thanks Jerry
  9. Why am I only able to see one reply at a time?
  10. I will post a picture of the back side.
  11. I am not sure how I can provide any more informative pictures. It installs just like a regular impeller. The only difference is you put the cover on which we provide. I will incorporate answers to these questions in the listing. You guys are always helpful with regard to what we miss both on design and information. Thanks
  12. It has a plug on the bottom of the cover facing down. I put it here so I could have 1/4" of material to thread into.
  13. It continures the contours of the water pump housing.
  14. You need 3/4" recess in your outer cover for it to fit perfectly. Most aftermarket water pump covers are at least that deep. If you use your stock cover then you will have about 1/8" gap when you bolt your outer cover on. Not really a problem because there is nothing to seal in there.
  15. There is no way to give exact numbers for improvement. Like with eveything elso on a banshee there are many variables which come into play. It definitely works and works very well but will work to different extents on each bike.
  16. It has the same design and number of fins as pro design impellers which everyone copies. They are jus tdeeper.
  17. The impeller is 50% deeper which is 1/4". The cover is 1/4" deeper and is the exact shape as the case it covers (the 1/4" recess).
  18. Our head does divert water into the water jackets and around the exhaust. Pro design does not so you would need to purchase the new cover for the pro design head which some places make.
  19. This impeller kit will help with the most stubborn engine temperature problems. Ultra Flow impeller
  20. I will be posting a serious banshee coolant impeller improvement next week. This impeller will do a significantly better job than pro design style impellers on keeping coolant temperatures lower and more consistant. Jerry
  21. Na, forget about that I only make 2 pennies per part. Even though it is so light it is very very strong. I just remove aluminum where it isn't necessary. This part is good for offroad as well as drag. If you do find a part that you can make 500 pieces per year let the rest of us know.
  22. I didn't mean it adds horsepower. I meant that less weight allows more of the horsepower to move the atv forward. A heavier atv requires more horsepower to move forward than the same machine which weighs less. Jerry
  23. We have never had a set of cages returned or ever had a problem with not having rubber. V force don't have rubber either. My guess is that the aftermarket reeds are stable enough that they don't need rubber to cushion them. In any case we have sold a lot of cages and never heard of a problem.
  24. VXB bearings are complete junk. The seals do not seal.
