  1. These are perfect fitting and high quality. They come with everything you need.
  2. We have a few sets of Lectron billet bowls that we are putting a clearance price on. They are all new but we had made them for a customer who decided not to carry them any more. We don't want to carry or make them either. This is a link to our ebay store. You can send the money to our paypal account chariotperformance@hotmail.com or ebay sale. Lectron bowls Thanks Jerry
  3. Of course I would like everyone to buy a cool head and to buy ours. I believe you have a question to ask reguardless of horsepower. Short term is a it a good choice or long term. Most people who would even consider doing anything to their head will eventually do more than one thing with their head. Assuming they will only ever need two sets of domes or two stock heads configured differently what is the cost for that. All things new then the cool head is cheaper $169.00 + $60.00 + $60.00= $289.00 for cool head. Stock new original + milled and configured $80.00 +$15.00 + $15.00 (gaskets) + $169.00 (new stock head) + this one rechambered $80.00= $359.00. Long term you just won't end up ahead. You could go used stock heads but you can with cool heads also. As far as Tyler's post I believe it is unprofessional, even though he has a right to his opinion. Drama only sells short term at best. All sights that gradually move more and more to the drama side eventually go to the wayside. I hope this one does not because I like it and greatly appreciate the members and sponsors. I send people here on a weekly basis to get banshee advice. Jerry
  4. No, we only made some of the two piece heads for him and some were made elsewhere. Modquad makes the one piece heads he has now.
  5. That was not meant to be going around Dave. Since TDR is a stocking distributor he must be buying a certain quantity at a time. Because I am a manufacturer I knew what Dave was saying was he considers it a support product because it would be a single set at a time. Like he offered to sell me a quantity of them he for sure is happy with a dealer of his (who likely is purchasing in quantity) to make those sales. In any case this is getting messy so I have production scheduled for super cub domes.
  6. Normally I let statements like this go but it is not right to let someone chime in and try to create conflict between Dave and I. Dave understands that I was simply mistaken in thinking that he would like to make more supercub domes. If I knew Dave saw those domes as support products I would have made the domes to begin with. In ALL my posts I have only said good things about Dave's quality and parts. I wouldn't have made a head that uses his domes if I did not have the utmost respect for his products. My impression was that Dave likes making domes. I was mistaken. Making domes is not dirty work and there are no secrets to making custom domes. In fact I have been making domes for more than 12 years. Dave gets a good price for his supercub domes so I assumed he would appreciate the additional sales if that were the case. We all manufacture the same products and rarely does one company try to leave or possibly create business to/for his competitor instead of taking it. I figured then that suggesting a stocking dealer of his would be acceptable. Dave was very gracious in his offer to sell me domes to stock. I would have never stepped on Dave's toes on purpose. I will be making supercub domes in the near future and won't make a mistake like this again. If you look at our parts we don't just make gravy parts.
  7. We just finished some billet intakes for the twister mini and some for the large twister cylinders. They will be listed on ebay in our store and our dealers will be able to get them and twister will have them as well. We have boot sizes to match them for essentially every carb.
  8. So they could buy the domes from TDR in Florida since he carries them in stock.
  9. We won't be making any DM heads. We looked at them and I think there could be too many problems with them. I may change my mind though.
  10. We have supercub heads based on our standard head style. Since most supercub builders want custom domes we made the head to fit Noss supercub domes. He makes great custom domes and we only make standard domes. Super cub head
  11. We have overflow tubes in all bowls. We have mikuni, ultra large keihin and large keihin bowls. Ultra Keihin bowls Mikuni bowls large keihin bowls
  12. I posted in the general forum a complete listing of boot info and carb info.

Match the correct boot with the center hole distance on your intake to choose which boot to use. These boots are all available from parts unlimited and tucker rocky. Most other distributors carry some of them. SUDCO is expensive but always has stock.

This represents ALL of the boots anyone would ever use on a billet intake ours or others. All you need to know is the bolt hole center of the intake you are using and then match it up to the boots that work with your carb. 70-75 means the holes are slotted. You can slot the other boots yourself easily with a grinding tool (dremel type) if you need to for your intake and boot combination. For the most part there is always a boot that will work. The next post will be a listing of carbs and boots which will work with that carb.
  15. That is pretty cool. Just a note to make sure people know that this is a "motor support" which utilizes our "bearing support" and is not any kind of a fix for our bearing support. Looks very nice! Jerry
  16. Upp intakes rip a lot. Mikuni boots with intakes are the best way to go.
  17. Now THIS is funny!! Friendly razzing is taking over this thread, hopefully.
  18. At high rpms both reed cages are constantly open. If you have your air filters off and rev the bike with two carbs you can feel the air flow out of the carb on the filter side. You can also see the air fuel mix.
  19. I guess the better way to word the exhaust port cooling effect on horsepower is that it can restore robbed horsepower not add it.
  20. What I have been told is at the cylinder exhaust port coolant flow to cool the cylinder is beneficial. As you point out the exhaust pipe is a different story.
  21. Some coolheads such as ours force most of the coolant to flow around the exhaust passages which according to builders I have talked to will show an increase in hp. My understanding is that when the exhaust gas is too hot you are robbed of hp and cooling the cylinder around the exhaust outlet is one key to lowering the temp here. Pro design head does not force any coolant around the exhaust passage. I believe the stock head does much more so then Pro design. Jerry
  22. No problems here but I firmly believe forums take their cues from the administrator. All informational sites should be professional and steer clear of conflict. On par with this is, for example, a sponsors decision to beat a dead horse over and over when talking about a bad deal he got on a trade. I am all for free speech but that type of conversation in public is bad for their business even though it may be truthful. Our natural tendency is to steer away from conflict. We do this on a conscious level and subconscious level. The more we subconsciously associate a business or product or brand with conflict the less likely we are to get near to it. Not many will consciously give a black mark to hq because of a conflict but most do on a subconscious level. Marketing and sales is all about subconscious manipulation and conflict always is anti. In the end everyone likes "happy happy happy". Again this is a great site and you are a great manager of the site. I send customers here all the time to get banshee info.
  23. I am a sponsor here and like the site. One word of criticism though, your comments here set the tone for the members and I for one think this type of dialoque by the site owner is unacceptable. Site sponsors expect 100% professionalism. This is not an attack on Tyler or the way he manages this site, he does a great job. Here, in this case, I believe he made an error in judgment. Jerry
  24. We have made water impellers for many years. Although our standard impeller is the same as pro design in shape that is where the similarities end. We addressed the issue of the pro design impeller shaft wear and breakage successfully. The problem was widespread with the pro design impeller shafts as well as with some other brands. Not starting a fuss but every product in the world (for all practical purposes) has competition from improved models by competitors.
