We are selling some gaskets on ebay to provide a cushion in our ebay rating. The quality is second to none. The material we use has twice the tensil strength of most other gaskets being sold. The cost for the material alone is more than what we are selling the gaskets for. These are the same gaskets we send with or products so you know they are quality. Purchase multiples and that will give us some extra cushion in our feedback rating. Ebay really makes me mad at times and this is my way of protecting against "THE MAN". Stock, cheetah, dm and impeller cover gaskets listed. http://www.ebay.com/itm/251245985692?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/281079299453?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/281079300132?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/281079306926?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 May have to use this link to ebay store for listings. They are listed 1 item per listing or two gaskets if intakes per listing. If you want multiples you have to purchase more listings. That is how I will get multiple feedback scores. http://stores.ebay.com/Chariot-Performance?_trksid=p2047675.l2563 If I don't have them listed be patient I will get them relisted within a few hours. Thanks Jerry

banshee 2 into 1
Chariot Performance replied to Scrubtherubber's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Choose whatever 2 into 1 you want but as far as jetting it is easy. We send 4 pilots and 4 mains along with what is in the 35 carb. We use the same needle although most will ask you to go with the other needles. You could but these work fine. At the end of the day if you do't like what you have even after installed you can return it to us for a full refund no questions asked. Jerry -
No problem. Bottom line is i should have them shipped much sooner.

I did run out of part of the clutch pusher without realizing it. It is not always easy getting something back in the machine in a timely manner. No excuses but just the way it is. I told you I would give you a good discount on the next item purchased. When I thought you were getting upset with me (and rightly so because I did not have the part to you in time) I gave you a full refund and told you the part will still be shipped for free. You would have the part free of charge. In case others jus't don't believe that I also did that for 3 others. In time I am sure they will have the opportunity to pipe in here as well. I am not upset with the post, it is my fault. Having said that, business has been good and we are experienceing "growing pains". These things just happen but when they do I always always always make it right and to a degree that no one else does. I also screwed up on the clearance thumb throttles. Half of them were missing the lever and I did not realize it. I had to send them out to paint and give them at least a couple weeks to dry so they would not chip easy. Again, growing pains but no excuse. Jerry

Personally i think Ray is a very stand up guy. When in his shop I asked him why the usps packages with numbers on them sittting on the shelves. He said that he numbers them according to the particular ebay listing and pictures. I could only imagine how difficult it is to sell used parts and satisfy people. My tendancy is to want used parts that are like new but that is rare. In this particular case I can't imagine Ray would deliver some rims 3 hours away from his shop thinking that he had misled the buyer. To lug them there just for the buyer to refuse them does not make sense at all. I once had an ebay buyer give me negative feedback because the timing plate he got had cutter marks on it. I guess it was supposed to be polished? I would have not purchased these rims looking like that but it does not sound like they were misrepresented, at least not on purpose. He also offered a refund when you returned them. This is standard practice and shipping cost is always on the buyer.

We only have a few of the carbon fiber decorated throttles left. The carbon is not as popular as the others so we are clearance pricing them. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chariot-CLEARANCE-Thumb-Throttle-Yamha-Banshee-Carbon-Fiber-Decoration-/281039047809?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item416f3b8c81&vxp=mtr

another overheating thread with a twist
Chariot Performance replied to fastforworddad's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
I know you said it is running fat but I would go up three main jet sizes and see what happens. Maybe, possibly you are lean but it feels fat to you. Personally I always resist going up when i think it is correct but many times it was just a mental block and I needed the bigger jet. Jerry -
Whats everyones thoughts on the 2-1 setup?
Chariot Performance replied to turbowrenchhead's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
An interesting note on the 2 into 1 intakes is that there are very few being RESOLD compared to how many have been sold. We sell a lot of them and so do our competitors. The reasons given for wanting a 2 into 1 intake are true and almost always those purchasing them are happy with the results. We have had DM and Cheetah anc billet cylinders on or shop bikes. I get them on and off the bike as quickly as possible only because of the type of riding the bikes are used for recreationally speaking. Our best setup so far for trails is the 4 mil serval with 2 into 1 intakes and shearer 2 into 1 pipe. Of course, everyone must realize that I am a WUS when it comes to super speed and drag racing. Slow and steady is my motto!! I might should ride a Honda! Jerry -
We have a 4 mil serval with our 2 into 1 intake and 38 pwk. It also has the shearer 2 into 1 pipe. We have a raptor 700 shop bike as well. In the trails the torque and low end grunt of this banshee is almost as good as the raptor. Never have I had another setup on a banshee that was fun to ride in the woods. You can slow down almost to a crawl with no need to play with the clutch to get going again.

Whats everyones thoughts on the 2-1 setup?
Chariot Performance replied to turbowrenchhead's topic in Jetting & Exhaust Forum
What do you mean choke it off? If you measure the opening of ours you will find it bigger than trinity and not choking the airflow off. Of course you do not want 2 into 1 if you want to drag race the same banshee with 2 carbs, all else being equal. Gimmick? Absolutely not a gimmick. If you want easy tuning buy a 2 in 1. If you want relief for your thumb buy a 2 in 1. If you want seat of the pants better grunt for a trail bike buy 2 in 1. If you want to spend less money on your intakes and carbs together buy a 2 in 1. Everyone knows that a reed spacer improves the low end grunt but not the top end. A 2 in 1 acts a bit like a reed spacer. I am ok with someone calling something a gimmick unless they use my brand name in the statement. If you want the fastest bike in a drag race then don't get a two in 1 but if you want to have the most fun in the trails there is no reason you can't have a 2 in 1. We have three shop bikes and they all have two into one intakes. Our shop bikes have had many many cylinder and pipe combinations on them for testing and riding. Most cylinders that we make intakes for have been on our shop bikes. I make intakes for twisters, stock, cheetah's, and dm's so I don't care if you buy a 2 in 1 or dual intakes because we make and sell them all. Don't get this post wrong, it is not meant to be negative just my opinion. I see you are from Michigan and I hope that you have our single intakes on your bike and our happy with them but don't be decieved by the 2 in 1 bashing because they have their place. Thanks Jerry -
Here are the questions. 1) Do I stand my my product? 2) Do I correct mistakes in orders? 3) Do I treat customers with respect in communications? Situation is: An ebay buyer sends an email and states that he not too long ago buys a crossover intake from me yet I did not send the orings. I first consider that my employee who ships stuff made a mistake and replied that I would send the orings at my expense. This is not a big deal and i do this every now and then even if I believe they just want an extra set etc. Upon looking up the address I had to go 6 months back to find the sale. Now it appears that not too long ago is TOO long ago. I politely reply that since it has been 6 months I would need to have the shipping covered only. The reply was that I would not get a good review on the HQ and he would not buy any more of my products. He also states it was my screw up. Based on the reply alone I know he was just trying to get an extra set of orings from me. If he had asked for that I would have likely given them to him with free shipping (first class not priority) and thanked him for his business. That is good business!! This rant is probably not good business but every now and then you have to do what feels right! I have a no questions asked return policy and extend it way beyond a normal time frame. Usually when something is returned (not very often) it has to be sold as blemished or dinged up because poor shipping back. I don't even complain about that because it good business. Since he has decided to bash my product or service on here I thought a pre-emptive strike would be appropriate. Thanks Jerry

chariot cool head on 421 cub
Chariot Performance replied to CAJUN BANSHEE's topic in Product Reviews
If you consider it an issue than it is an issue with cub and not our head. Our head is the exact thickness as stock. You choose what studs to use with your cub cylinder. Whate ver studs you would choose for a stock head on a cub would be the same. Thanks for purchasing our products! Jerry -
I agree that some forged are as good as some billet. Crank manufacturing is not a secret and neither are the material choices. If you are the manufacturer of forged cranks and you also do the forging then you know what you are getting. The problem with all the banshee cranks I know of is that nobody is confident in the "forgings". It is much easier to be confident of billet cranks if you know the manufacturer. It is also easier to add or subtract a little material to make it stronger/lighter etc or heavier. Forgings will also have a higher rate of failure because of the nature of a forging and the difficulty in achieving a consistent quality.

Sounds like I need to start making billet cranks at a fair price?

True True True Some or even a lot unions may be corrupt but that is a different issue then do we need them. We most definitely need them because the greedy heartless entities called "employer" proves over and over that employees are less than human. Government does not create a safe and fair work environment and employers do not either so some organization must exist to do so. Without unions the security of most all individuals paychecks would be minimal or null and void. Without this security people hoard their money and don't spend. Without spending the economy halts and our way of life stops. Simple economics proves the necessity of unions. If the onsite death rate of ruthless greedy corporations was not enough!

suprised by Mattoon Machine product line
Chariot Performance replied to sprinklerman's topic in Product Reviews
Hi Cameron, Then how would a dealer make any money with nor mark up or very little? -
One thing I can promise is that our impeller will never fail. Our shafts will not wear at the seal. As far as engineering on the impeller goes you won't get cavitation nor will find a better design. Pro design, as much as I hate to say it, hit it on the head. At least that is what i believe.
