  1. Some domes have a place for an oring on the top of the dome. this oring holds the dome in the head.
  2. Look at our ebay listing of this bike. We are also interested in trade for a nice grizzly.4mm dm bike
  3. You may be 100% correct but we would have to let the numbers show that. Congress did show boating the first meeting with the execs and didn't look at hard numbers they just threw out a bunch of rhetoric. The numbers may just be a bandaid but do we know that. Loans are given based on projections but right now projections are hard to come by. Is it possible that the auto companies are victims of the times which were created by financial institutions? Some of it is or most of it I don't know. A lot of it is because of the downturn after 9-11 or there abouts. If projections show that employee costs all of a sudden are the downfall of the companies and there is no hope of eventual recovery then those costs have to go down. I don't believe employee costs are the problem or "were" the problem. They are a problem now but so is every other cost of the auto compaines because they are losing money. One reason for this belief is that american cars are as affordable as foreign cars. Take a close look at the prices and options on vehicles and they are essentially the same. Sure you can purchase very expensive american autos but you can foreign also. The normal prices on american small cars still provided a profit and were competitive. I will agree that if american auto companies can't get some market share back and increase sales levels because of the economic times then costs have to be cut. That is far from saying that employee costs were the problem it only says that when times are dire and there is no light at the end of the tunnel then all costs have to be considered. If this is the forecast then auto execs need to admit that they are not talented enough to resotre the auto industry before collapse or that the times simply won't allow it. That is where the truth lies not in employee wages as the cause of failure. Bottom line is no numbers are given before congress which are meaningful. This shows that the cowards in the exec chairs want the easy way out which is bankruptcy. Then they can start over and don't have to work so hard at recovery. Congress apparently wants that also. I as well as half of american could have given a better defense before congress of the viability of the auto industry then those limp execs did. Line below bottom line is this economy is bad and the wrong people will get the blame and do you notice that it is always the working class or "union" people or the poor.
  4. If in normal times they are profitable with the higher cost then why does it have to permanently go? Our production costs are even more disproportionate to China so why not knock wages to their level?
  5. Don't hold these remarks against my brand just me. It is ignorance like this which is the problem. Politicians screw with our heads by asking if "you flew in a private jet to this meeting and will you now fly commercial back". Should an exec fly commercial to an interview before congress when 3 million jobs are at stake-NO NO!!! Execs are part of the problem but the point is congress is screwing with our heads asking these questions. This is a loan not free money. The financial institutions are screwing the auto companies by not giving them loans because they are crooks in these big banks. Main point is that the auto companies were very profitable before 9-11 crap even with this so called $73.00 wage. My paps is skilled trade at GM for 45 years and he makes around$30.00 hr regular time not $73. Has the economy changed permanently that auto employees need be screwed permanently-NO NO NO!!!!! The economy will rebound and the auto companies will be profitable again even at $73.00 so called wages. So is the solution to screw the share holders and employees because the banks are screwing the country or LOAN money to the auto companies so they don't have to screw employees who otherwise cause a company to be profitable. You say they get paid too much but that simply is not true. If the company makes a profit who should be paid? The stock holders and the employees. The market takes care of the stock holders the execs are supposed to take care of the employees. The problem lies with the politicians and management. They have to look at exact numbers and forecast economic return so they can either provide a loan or say no based on numbers not hyped up crap. In the very least employees should not be screwed permanently. SO NO ONE IS PUT OFF OUR BRAND BECAUSE OF MY RANTS I WILL GIVE %30 OFF ALL MY ITEMS SOLD ON EBAY TODAY AND TOMMORROW ONLY. THAT IS MY PART IN COMPETING AGAINST CHINA CRAP AND HELPING THE ECONOMY. EMAIL ME IF YOU WANT THAT DEAL
  6. I hate to soil my brand name by replying in the fashion I am about too but this isn't about atv stuff so here goes! Let em fail is a bunch of crap. We bail out crooked financial companies without owning them-that is crap. We should have let them go bankrupt and the govt then provide funds for 100% taxpayer ownership. Screw the crooked financial insititutions-we should own them. As far as the auto companies go we would be loaning them money not giving them money like the financial institutions. The drive seems to be-blame the failure to be profitable on high wage costs. They were very profitable before the economy started to puke after 9-11 with the same wage costs. Yes they could be profitable again if they screw the employees out of their pensions and wages. It is a public company and both stock owners and employess should be treated with consideration as owners. They both finance and build the company. What has changed that wages now cost profitability? Too many people are buying foreign cars and not supporting american made cars. Don't tell me that foreign cars are cheaper or more fuel efficient or higher quality because they are not!!! Don't tell me honda is american because some of their cars are made here-the money leaves here. The fault has to lay with the management of these companies. They should market "buy american" and haven't ever. They should stress the equality of their vehicles to foreign and they don't. If the auto companies have to file bankruptcy because of wage costs then prove it and do it. I believe the only fair thing to do is to have a unique bankruptcy in which stock holders are given first choice to repurchase stock at same price then let market make money for them. Employees who give up pension wages etc should get first run at all profits above necessary to operate. If the company goes bankrupt then all of a sudden are making 15 billion a year in profit then the bulk of that should be divided among the employees who gave up benefits. What bankruptcy amounts to is employees giving up say 50% of benefits when to be profitable they only needed to give up 20%. Either way the rich will get richer and the employees will get screwed.
  7. We are selling our banshee we have used for fitting of the parts we manufacture. 1 hour on new parts listed including all dm stuff. A&S built motor and dyno tuned. $5600.004mm dm banshee
  8. Here is our product test bike with new motor by A&S. Make and offer.banshee 4mm dm
  9. We made the walls to the water jackets thicker and we also left a little more meat under the domes. We did this because we had 5 heads fail, out of hundreds, on our first model of head. The five which failed were all on extreme motors. Still not a bad percentage but we strive for perfection so we made some changes.chrome headblack headred headsuper duty head These heads now are suitable for the most extreme motors. We also have another model head which can be seen in our ebay listings which do not use removeable domes. That head is used on Dan Hull's 240 horsepower turbo supercub with no problems at all. If anyone has a bike compareable to that then they should use that head. Dan is the man to talk to if you believe you need that head.
  10. The chrome is just for show. It is show quality chrome and very expensive and difficult to have done on aluminum. You can't see the coolant flow to both sides unless it is in your hands. Our newest heads are coming out tommorrow (listed on ebay). They feature even stronger construction for the most demanding methanol beasts. We will also have black anodized heads in addition to plain, red, blue and show chrome.
  11. All domes are supposed to stick out .003 to .005 inches roughly. Any other heads which appear flush is probably just that appearance. The accepted tolerance is as stated bove .
  12. Buy our plate on ebay. Set the timing at what you want, what works best (trial error). The key gives you one setting only and likely not the best one.
  13. Since we are making some billet parts for the dm's I decided to put a 4mil dm with custom shearer inframes on my bike for trail riding. Dan Hull did the motor for me and we dynoed/tuned it at his shop. I am not a big atv rider but I keep a Banshee cause we make so many parts for it. With stock swingarm, took it for a spin and scared the crap out of me. Instant high high wheelies. Rode 100 yards put in back in the shop and ordered a 6" swingarm. Hopefully that will help enough for my 5mph rides in the woods not to end in tragedy. My suggestion is 4mil dm trail bike!!! It may be the best and LAST ride of your life.
  14. We have made impellers for Vito's in the past but would not make the stainless shaft impellers because that simply was a bad idea. Stainless even hardened has lousy wear properties and even the seals (rubber) will wear the stainless. We made them with alloy steel and hardened the shaft. This is the correct way to go. Sharp edges and even chamfered edges on the chaft will "shave" the seal every time. You must have radiused or rounded edges to avoid this. We will make some more under chariot brand in a few months and they will be top quality. My suggestion is that people buy an aftermarket assembly and put the stock shaft on the aluminum end.
  15. They actually have slightly more useable capacity than the other billet bowls out there. We raised the main floor so the main jet actually has a sump area and we provided a dedicated sump area which keeps the fuel from sloshing past the main jet. The sides are further out more than compensating for the raised main floor. We also have the power jet fitting in the proper place and it has it's own amount of fuel over and above which is available to the main jet. We have a stop for the floats to keep them from bouncing down to far when bowl is really getting sucked low. Stop also prevents floats from sticking or wedging stuck on bottom of bowl. This is the same reason for the stop in stock bowls.
  16. I will probably become a sponsor on P.S. because it seems that is where most of the "builders" spend their time and I really am interested in keeping the interest of the builders in my products and picking up dealers more than ebay sales. I am gonna consider sponsor on here as well. I believe I have said enough about all this mess so back to my usual non confrontational self.
  17. Which builders post on here? Calvin, Titan Racing etc.
  18. Not only did they delete my posts they deleted me and took my $25.00.
  19. Just deleted after paying $25.00 fee. Seems I can't mention my brand even in a thread about my product. Count the days before that forum is over with.
  20. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...563381&rd=1 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...E:IT&ih=018 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...E:IT&ih=018
  21. Not true. Depending on the design either work well. Pro design is a terrible head for cooling or performance. The design does not force any coolant into the cylinder it just floats around the dome area. Perfromance comes from cooling around the exhaust. Our head (chariot) is a good one piece design and works great. If you want a two piece go with our competitor (noss). Noss heads work great as well. Stay away from modquad or pro design neither of them are as effective.
  22. Vito's We have anodized red or black or blue intakes to choose from also. Intakes are added to sweeten the pot.
  23. 34 pj's bored to 34.5 or 35 (don't remember) in great shape with no more than 200 hrs. Carbs come with two new carbon fiber decorated billet intakes (no boots). $200.00 plus shipping. Banshee Motoplat ignition again less than 200 hrs and great condition. Now they are called PVL ignition. $300.00 or best offer. (still on bike so no picture)
  24. If the bumper doesnt have a point to squash to the side (a pinch point for example) when hit from front then the frame will definitely tweek out of shape much before the bumper.
