  1. Out here in cali I just put stainless screen in the pipes and I get through the gates everytime. They just do the poke test and never look for the usfs stickers (or lack there of). Dunno maybe I'm lucky.
  2. Just use a 10mm deep socket and a finish hammer. Worked for me.
  3. I've ran his pistons (M&H) and clutch for about two years now (flat track and a little mx racing) and I've been more then happy with them. At the time I bought them I was nervous because of the price, but it's all I could do at that time to get a set of forged pistons. I tore down the motor at this start of this year to inspect everything and everything looked and spec'd out perfect. I didn't use his gasket kit tho, I stuck with wiesco gaskets.
  4. You can contact Hiper and get Honda bolt pattern wheel centers for those since they are two piece wheels. Just FYI
  5. I'm looking for a set of +2/+1 or +3/+1 Arms. Let me know what you got and no yfz450 arms.
  6. I need a +2/+4 Adjustable axle that is strait and complete. I also need a rear brake rotor.
  7. You probably have a leak somewhere on your gauge, the check valve, hose, etc... etc.. Try another gauge and it should hold the pressure.
  8. I have one that I got off of a member from here a while back and I'm happy with it. It's lasted more then 3 rides that's for sure... Don't forget a well lubed cable makes the word of difference too.
  9. I could never find a shifter that felt right on the banshee (compare to my 700 and my old yfz) so i built this: Works like a dream, now everyone I ride with wants me to make them one.
  10. I know I'm probably the outcast on this one but I'm running MH Pistions. Two Years strong on them with no problems, couldn't beat the price at the time and I won't stop at buying another set, if and when I need them. 2nd comes wiseco
  11. I have had a similar looking dome when one of my cylinders wouldn't fire. Tore almost the whole motor down until I discovered the ground to the cdi box was loose.
  12. I was running the tie rods that speedy332 used to make and they are 13 5/8" long. Now I'm just running mini sprint radius rods with 3/8" heims. Works like a champ. I know Grizzly 700 tie rods and mod quad's +2 Banshee tie rods work
  13. First flat track show is coming up on April 24th. Here is the entry form: http://www.venturaraceway.com/pdf/Forms/2010%20%204-24%20Motorcycle%20Entry%20Form.pdf hope to see some of you there
  14. It's not the height of the tire that affect the gearing, it's the Circumference of the tire that will affect the gearing. Get a flexiable tape measure, then measure the circumference of your 20 inch tires and then your 22's and you'll see the difference, which will be a few inches most likely.
  15. Should have put a no preference option. I like to run a thumb throttle for trails and forestry riding and I like to use a twist for flat track racing and dunes.
  16. Small boxes help too; label them for example Left side engine, Right side engine, rear suspension, etc... etc... Keep everything nice and orginized and you shouldn't have a problem.
  17. I got a billet Lowering link to use for flat tracking, but today I ran into a problem with it when I went to set for stock ride height. The lowering link hits the cross tube on my swinger (stock -2 shortened swing arm) when I try to put it at the stock position. So for now I just switched it back for the stock link but I would like to use the adjustable link instead. Has anyone else had this problem? Any remides? Thanks
  18. With a little the help of google, they are made for the banshee: http://www.sss-racing.co.za/spdetail.aspx?spid=305
  19. Well they are running them but now there will only be three shows. I guess some of the parents' of the kids classes threw hissy fits over the fact that road course would tear up the kids in-feild track so It seems the quad races are going to be restricted to the flat track shows alone on the following dates: April 24th, June 12th, and September 4th. Hopefully that doesn't change too.
  20. 13 5/8" is the length I'm running.
