  1. Pull the clutch cover off first check everything out, if its not your clutch or shifter shaft, its probably your tranny. You will have to split the cases. Get a clymers manual, it will walk you through the whole tear down. I would not take it to a shop they charge way to much. Its not that hard to do just pay attenction to how you take it apart.   5. 185?? Thats lower than stock. I would would start around a 280 main and work your way down, and a 27.5 pilot.
  6. I alway Clean the cylinders to make sure thier isnt anything left from the bore and hone, then coat cylinders, pistons/pins/bearings, and crank bearings with whatever 2 stroke oil you run. Then start putting it together. Be sure the rings are in the pins that are in the pistons.
  7. List all your mods and elevation and someone here will get you pretty close.

  9. Backfiring normaly means an air leak check your intake boots out make sure they don't have any cracks, what is your curent jetting, elavation, mods? Did you put the balance tube back in between the carbs? And did you put the carb bowls back on the rite carb? And welcome!!!!! :beer: :beer:

  17. Here's what i chose: The dynoport 2 into 1 pipe with single 35mm pwk, carbon tech low reeds, and 20cc domes. Chart 1. Pro circuit pipes with single 35mm pwk, vf3 reeds and 19cc domes. Chart 2 Pro circuit pipes with dual 28mm mikuni flatslides, vf3 reeds, and 19cc domes. Chart 3 Am i close???????? Let us know

  20. Welcome to the hq!! First post and trying to sell a whole banshee . Do you know anything about the bike? Is it completly stock? I just picked up an '02 with a rod bearing out for 1100. Edit: can you get the vin #'s off the frame and the motor? Do you have the title? And the rest of the plastic?

  22. You want to start rich and work your way down. I would start with the 330.
  23. Did you put the bowls back on the rite carbs? And is the balance tube in place?
  24. Check your reeds, make sure you don't have any air leaks the intake boots are bad about cracking and causing an air leak.
