  1. i always use the stabil in mine every winter, it says its for 2 strokes also, no problems yet.
  2. i would add stabil to the gas, ride it for about 30 mins, then after it cools down pull the plugs out ans squirt a little fogging oil or wd-40 in the cylinders, spin the kickstarter by hand(slowly) with the plugs out, re-install the plugs and you should be ok.. my .02
  3. a long punch and a big hammer.. sounds like you may need another carrier as well.. just my thoughts, its hard to say on something like that wothout actually seeing it.. good luck.
  4. why did u buy .050 pistons?? was the engine low on compression?? sometimes a light hone and new rings can be the fix, you should always clean the piston to see what bore its on.. never bore unless you have to, and if you have to bore go as little as possible, always let a machine shop bore your cylinders too.. and the clutch shaft, are you talking about the one that runs with the big ball bearing?? i had to split the cases one time on a motor, the other end of the shaft was flared out, guess it had the welded clutch rod/ball once upon a time..

  6. when u messed with the carbs did u remember to hook the choke tube back up(hose between the carbs)
  7. these are the easiest motors to work on period!!! even the bottom end is simple, if u can fix a bowl f cereal you can work on a banshee motor!

  10. i would just loom on ebay or on here and buy the complete setup. i have heard that the pj carb is a bitch to tune when used for the 2 into 1 setup.. get a 35mm pwk.. i just got a 2 into 1 a while back, just got it tuned and wow.. never gonna use dual carbs on it anyomre.. what made the most difference on tuning is using the right needle.. it will not run right without the right needle in it.. good luck

  13. kool man thanx, i hear ya on the porting,, u just don't want me to be faster than you.. we need to both race nate back to back.. lol will be funny, i know i can smoke his ass with my reborn shee.. even with low compression,, i have rode his bike, it is fairly quick but its not fast enough..
  14. hell i would call them, tell them how unhappy you are and try to send it back, spend that 100 bucks on something else for the shee,
  15. are you shure it wasn't at -5?? mine is at +5 with 19cc domes and absolutely rips.. i bet your gap on the pickup was off, i would try the timing plate one more time , make sure it is at +5 or +4. and check the gap on the pickup coil. if its not right it will run like shit.. i use a business card to set the gap.

  17. sounds like the splines on the sprocket hub are stripped.. i had one do that..
  18. when u take the needles out it will be stamped on the needle.. will say cgl, eek, dek, dej, something like that.. its up close to the blunt end of the needles.. check it out..
  19. i have 2 good stators but they both have the old style plug.. anyone have any bad stators they wanna get rid of?? i just need the wire harness and plugs..???

  21. yea i was amazed on how well this bike ran after changing the needle and doing some adjusting .. i was always told by a friend that the 2 into 1 was very sensitive and would need to be rejetted constantly, not so true.. i just think he meant it can be a pain in the ass to tune.. maybe he seen someone fighting with one.. most people don't think to change the needle, they seem to focus on the main jet and thats it.. i do however have mine running perfect, now its time to get my topend bored, (its low on psi's)
  22. yea that kinda looks like shit.. i did a WAY better job one mine myself.. what gets me is how uneven he ported them.. how do they transfers and exhaust look?? hopefully better?
  23. i have a stock stroke 68mm cub.. with 33mm pwk's.. i am running a 148 main, 45 pilots.. i can't say that it is spot on just yet.. i just have been messing around with my other shee, but i will get back to it.
