  1. no problem, i hope that all made sense, did they end up selling you the rite kit?
  2. yea i sold a guy a motor for a r/c airplane(gas) then he emails me bitching, saying that the engine was shot and all froze up inside, he sent pictures, come to find out he was sending me pictures of the motor he already had, the motor i sent him was new never fired, and i had put oil in the crank and cylinder when i bought it for storage. i called him out on it and the bullshit stopped, .. there are assholes anywhere you go. but it is a lot of fun beating them at there own game.. good luck bigredx, i bought a boat off ebay, my father made the trip for me to pick it up, he dropped it off at my house, and the fucking motor was locked, the bitch that sold it to me swore up and down they had just had it out on the lake, i really got fucked on that one.
  3. i wish i had a rz setup
  4. i may just be lucky, i have ran the 19cc +5 setup for years, compression lands at about 155-165.. i usualyy jet my bike a hair on the rich side, being rich also lowers a chance of detination in my book. i also run a 2 into 1 carb 35pwk. eek needle 160 main, 48 pilot
  5. that clears .000030 number is the piston to cylinder clearance. the kit number will be like 6450 which is for 64.50mm bore which is .020 over .5mm =.020" so a 65mm kit would be .040" over your .050" over kit should be a 6525 hope that helps.. looks t a the kit number on the box and tell me what it is.. all the kits(any size) will say clearance is .000030
  6. i run 19cc domes, +5 timing, and 93 pump gas, no problems, just need to be on top of your jetting.
  7. i would think that if the oring was too thick, the cases would still seal up, the oring would just mash flat.. not sure though. what if you said the hell with it and left the orings off?
  8. yea i was wondering about the jets and needles, i assume the keihin parts will work, if so then they should be fairly easy to tune.. it also said that they fit the stock intake boots
  9. 13/42 decent setup if you do trail riding, i also have a gforce axle, and a durablu on my other shee.. i wish they were both gforce's, a very strong axle, and it looks great.
  10. school me on what that motor is?? 4 stroke 4 cylinder?? air cooled?
  11. well i have never had a stroker, but in all they add mor tourqe and power. you will need to get with a builder on that one, your cylinders will need to be ported for the extra stroke to gain full advantage from the stroker, and u may need to have your heads domes cut to reconfigure the squish, but if u have the cash it is a great idea.
  12. if it is low on compression doing a fresh bore job will do lots of justice, also porting it will add some power, i ported mine myself and it is very quick, i wouldn't get beat by a 440ex at all. what else is done to it?? oh yeah, passion racing does a topend job(bore, hone, pistons, rings, gaskets, orings) for like 245.00.. thats a great deal, and jim is an excellent builder. if u can afford it his portwork kicks ass also, look up wacko on here, he just had a motor built by jim.
  13. if you are doing test and tune , i would try to reuse a stock gasket, use some of that copper spray stuff...
  14. yes if the choke tube is off it will run like shit.. also did u take the slides out of the carbs?? if you got the slides in the wrong carbs it will run like shit(left carb slide was put in the right carb, right carb slide was put in the left carb) you can check by looking into the back side(airbox side) of the carbs, the slides should have a notch in them.. if not they are in backwards, something simple is wrong somewhere, this thing should run like a raped ape.. let us know what u find, a lot of people post there problems but never tell us what they found wrong..
  15. hey i have a set of lrd's i would trade you, no silncers though, just the head pipes. interested?
  16. ouch!!! 200.00 for a cleanup port?? i did my own porting and did ten times more than that, it was free since i did it, and mine rips hard.. i also ported andrew's banshee and it is a bad mofo, wheelies in every gear without any effort.
  17. u have a 2 into 1 pipe?? can't understand what u have for sale?? how much?? i would like first dibs.. let me know
  18. the 2 outer bearings would be fairly easy, but the 2 inners would basically require a complete crank rebuild, if they are shot find a nice used one or a hot rods, and if u are buying a new crank, dish out the extra benjy's for a 4 mil
  19. i have a very nice low hour cub motor, stock stroke 68mm bore, has 12 hours on it since break in, nice cpi inframes, 33 mm pwk's, and a +4 lonestar swinger, also the cub cylinder is professionally polished (looks chrome). i am looking to trade the pipes for some paul turner mid or high revs, and maybe do some trading with my 33mm pwk's(they are also brand new) for a trinity 2 into 1 setup, also wanna trade the +4 lonestar for a +2 roundhousing swinger. want to convert the bike back to trails and mx again.. what do u guys have?
  20. yea u can still use the stock gasket just fine if you mill the head, i would do a search or ask around on how much to shave it, not sure how it will effect your squish, but people definately shave them, it will add some power.. if it where me i would mill the head, throw it on with a new gasket, and see what happens, i think you will be fine.
  21. hey titan, welcome aboard, this is by far an awesome site, tell us where u are from. later
  22. yea drew thats a steal deal man. i here ya on the rough ride, but its a lot of damn fun, for anyone interested it is a nice setup, i have seen and rode in it,
  23. hey if you dont have a cool head , or the money to dish out for one right now, i would suggest milling down the stocker about 20 or 30 thousandths, will makes sure it is true (so your new gasket doesn't leak) and add a little compression.. also were the head nuts on good and thight when u took it apart? maybe someone didn't tourqe the head tight enough, i have never seen a set of pistons that clean, usually just being fired up for a little bit will turn them brown, they look new, i am guessing a head gasket failure.
  24. sounds like you do the same riding that i do, heres my setup, 2 into 1 carb, toomey t5's, timing advanced +5, cool head with 19cc domes, reeds, and a proflow adapter to run K&N filter in stock airbox, its also ported (trail/play port), and also cutting the shift star helps a lot on easier shifting
