  1. dam the anticipation!! lol.. i bet this is a 2into 1 versus stock carbs..
  2. yea it made more hp up top on #2. and didn't really lose any power.. made about 5 or 6 more hp..
  3. 2nd chart.. more power and tourqe... what was different on the bike??
  4. so you are getting some different results.. nothing was changed on the bike?? i assume it is ported..
  5. pro design!!! i bought a modquad and put 12 hours on it.. had coolant in my tranny, the shaft has a bad groove in it.. was a new seal and bearing also.. modquad=junk!!
  6. ^^^^ i agree^^^^ oncei got my 2 into 1 tuned right, and the rest of the bike setup for what i am doing.. i feel that i still am having my cake, and eating it too.. i am not comparing the single to other aftermarket carbs, just comparing it to stock carbs..
  7. i need a black radiator shroud.. please no spray painted ones.. someone's gotta have one right?? pm me if you have one
  8. gear it down!! try running a tooth or maybe 2 less on the front sprocket.. then you can launch in 2nd, and not bogg in 6th.. pus it will wanna rev quicker with a shorter gear..
  9. listen to snop on this one.. he helped me on mine.. he knows his shiznit.
  10. kool.. so they hook very hard?? wanna get this cub to hook up
  11. i run a 2 ply tire now fr trail riding.. its not real rocky or anything where i ride.. just hard pack dirt.. and grass.. no sharp rocks or anything
  12. looking for some good bite for my shee.. this is for my play bike that i take riding where there is always a drag track, but there are some dirt trails and etc.. i spend most of the day racing the bike but may hit a trail for a few.... are all of these tires too soft for using on a dirt trail?? i assume they will just not hold up to trail riding i guess.. if not i could always just bolt them on when i plan on drag'n for a while.. and which one of these is the best?? and how hard to they really hook?
  13. thanks man, my pride and joy.. lots of work and money in this one..
  14. some snow pics
  15. i have a 93 notch
  16. so when i decide to put an overide tranny in my motor i can leave the topend bolted up if i have it upside down and just remove the lower case??
  17. i will have to disagree.. you will not lose any topend as far asi can tell on my setup.. it runs just as good as it ever did..
  18. LOL, i can't talk you out of it myself.. i have 3 banshee's. and my "trail" banshee ahs the 2 into 1 on it, and it is staying.. i love mine for the woods and trails... its just like porting etc.. its all about what you are doing with the bike and the setup.. ... good luck deciding. if i where you i would get one and try it, keep your stock carbs, if you don't like it they still sell very well so you should be able to get money back..
  19. is it a stock tranny?? how much for the trans?
  20. yea, it may have just worked it way out of adjustment, as far as your shift star it looks great!! i took the same amount (if not more) off of all the shift stars that i do... we have 3 banshees and i did them all with no problems.. just adjust the shifter mechanism and try it... it should fix the problem.. if it where my bike i would not be worried after i seen how far out of adjustment it is... so, adjust it, don't worry, and ride it..
  21. yea, you can get .090 over pistons.. i hope you didn't pay that much for those cylinders.. you can only go .100 over on them. so you have one more bore left if you are lucky... lets say you get it together with the .090 over pistons and you have a bad failure, lean it out, dirt gets in, or whatever, and the cylinders get grooved real bad, they will still have grooves in them even after boring them to .100 over... if you gotem cheap don't worry about it and rock on..!!!
  22. they are all the same.. welding them keeps the crank from coming ou of true, or "phase" which will cause some bad damage to your motor.. it is mostly hard on the bearings.. it is good insurance to weld the crank, especially when you start making more power... the weld the lower rod pin to the crank webs, it is pressed in place and can slip out of true, but welding it locks it in..
  23. yea, maybe if he had a bigger turbo the rat would have just went right through.. lol.. someone needs to write chevrolet about this issue, the duramax's need bigger turbo's!! LOL
  24. dam dude.. thats screwed up!!! at least he didn't get cooked in there... lol.. its wild what can happen sometimes.. those little shits are good about chewing up wires also... my dad has a shitload of classic cars in his building, he puts mothballs in the cars when not driven to keep the mice and rats from geting in there and eatin up interior, wires and what not..
