  1. drop a smaller main jet in it.. see if it improves.. if not i would play with using different needles.. i had the same problem with my 2 into 1 setup (35mm pwk) then i switched to the EEK needle and it runs excellent.. i still had to dial in my jetting of course.. but no more dead spots or blurbering
  2. i am no expert on trannys, but i do know that you are suppose to split the diference on the gap on both sides of it.. yours is definately out of adjustment.. readjust it and see what happens.. if that is not it you will probably have to split the cases and see whats wrong in the trans.. just my thoughts on it.. someone with more knowledge on this will surely chime in..
  3. i have powdercoated many stock and works springs.. there is a local shop here that will take the shocks off and put them back on for a couple bucks.. its not that big of a deal really.. probably just some sort of spring compressor that he uses.
  4. anyone have a lockout and cover?? looking for a direct drive 12 bolt... just thought i would ask before buying a new one.. i have a polished stock clutch cover (it looks like chrome) with no kickstarter grrove or brake groove at all, that i will sell after i get a lockout..
  5. i take the stock spring on the detent lever and grind some it off all the way around.. makes it a little softer.. don't get it too thin though..
  6. yea, very easy to cut.. i do my own also... gonna go with a overide soon .. won't need it anymore.. lol
  7. well ok then,, so whats the rest of the stuff worth now that i know the upper case is useless.. lol?
  8. i have a mint set of stock carbs that have the cable, tors, and all... also a straight mint stock axle... a mint stock swingarm with a mint carrier to match... bearings are tight.. a stock rear shock in need of a revalve or recharge.. boost bottle (LOL couldn't give it away) <---- this one was a joke a good upper case half (doesn't have the chain break) itp steel front rims... front brake system... just some stuff laying around in the shop that i will prolly never need.
  9. awesome work man!!! can't wait to see the uppers finished.. do you need those a arms powdercoated??? if so hit me up..
  10. LOL!1 yea it looks like it hurt,, i bet it didn't hurt aht bad with all that cushion she had to fall on!!! FUPA <----- thats funny.. lol
  11. screamin semen!!
  12. surely thats a typo and he only meant 15 bucks. lol.. .. whats funny is he lives about 45 minutes from me.
  13. kool.. so the dunable will withstand some moderate backloading and downshifting then?? i always have the habit of holding the clutch when coasting a hill or slowing down also.. maybe i can use an overide without any probs.. who knows.. lol
  14. MAN. i would like a couple of those chase!! lol looks awesome...
  15. lol.. yea it sounds very appealing, but i don't wanna have to tear it down frequently to replace the forks.. are have the dunables come a long way as far as durability??
  16. WOW!! sounds like i am also on the "other side" LOL.. i also run amsoil.. been running it for years.. i don't have a garage full of old cylinders and pistons either.. lol..
  17. ok guys, i know it has been discussed, but i have to ask.. i have a 392 cub motor on the bike, i do trail ride it, and drag it.. its a play bike.. i do have a trail shee that is strictly for trail riding.. i want to make the cub bike shift better and have been thinking about doing the 1-5 dunable overide... should i do it??? will it be durable??? i would say 30% trails, 20% open fields, and the rest just draging... someone school me a little better on the dunables... would i be better off interupting the ignition somehow when i shift?(for drag racing)
  18. +1 ..
  19. hmmm. i have a cheetah motor on my shee (392) that i do a lot with,(trail ride, rec riding, woods, and drag it) not sure if a dunable is for me? will backloading the dunables a lot mess up the forks?? or is it downshifting that does it?? just wondering if theres a way i can use one and not mess it up ( dont wanna take the motor back apart for a while)
  20. yea. im going to try that, also how well does the modified shift shaft that jeff sells work?? i have heard good things.. i am also going to try using the fzr1000 clutch and see how it holds up. do i use the stock banshee steels and use the fzr fibers?
  21. D, do you have a link for the guy that is doing the bearing mod on the shift drum? gonna do mine also..
  22. did u get your ground wire bolted back on the new timing plate? anyway you may have damaged the stator when swapping everything?? your headlights are on a seperate circuit from your ignition on the stator..
