your local guy is full of shit.. drag port it and you will hate trail riding it.. trust me.... if you have the money, go with a 4 mill longrod setup with a good woods port to match the 4 mill crank, a 2 into 1 carb, and maybe a set of toomey t5's or pro circuits.. cpi's are more of a drag pipe.. get a timing plate, and a cool head to raise the compression.. talk with a builder and they can put together one kickass combo for you.. F.A.S.T racing, passion racing, or HERR JUGGS RACING... those are some reputable builders

i agree with kawi ^^^^^ not sure i'd try them in my cub either.. maybe a set of stock juggs i had lying around.... surely these pistons are better than the stockers anyhow.. for the price it is very cheap.. my homeboy's bike needs a fresh bore, he is thinking about giving these a try.. we just gotta get it tore down and see what size slugs we be needin!

just had a question for you duners.. how long do paddle tires last in sand?? i would think for a long time.. just curious on how long they last.. its easy to go through a set of tires on dirt..

make sure the regulator is hooked up and grounded GOOD.. if it is i would replace it

well, your coolant sysytem is under pressure when it gets hot. you would pump all of the coolant out of the motor if the hose is just left open anywhere.. it needs to connect to the radiator to let air escape that high part of the head, if not it will get air locked and the water will not circulate... no other way to connect it other than hooking it to the radiator..

i just switched to the fzr1000 fibers.. haven't put any time on them as of yet. but i hear good things about them

the cost of rebuild is close to the price of new.. check into it and maybe you will get a decent price.. but usually its just as easy to buy a new one
