  8. sounds like the cable is jammed in the splitter jsut pull it back and forth a few times and get some cable lube.

  11. yeah put it in the one right above the middle i have shee with a regular air box stock piolots and DMC aliens in the thrid postion its perfect its pulls like a mo-fo i love these pipes. but still doesnt have that much low end, but mid and up top its fine.
  12. aside for the j-arm of the early banshees and some tabs in different places for heal guards as an example they are all pretty much the same. unless you get and aftermarket frame like and expensive laeger protrack frame.
  13. you go bigger if you go out. usually 3-4 turns. about a half out and you go down.
  14. yeah air leak take carbcleaner and spray it around the mtoor till it revvs or dies.
  15. you could have 200 HP or 20HP and that calc will still be the same unless you change the gear rations in the tranny.

  17. the boost bottle costs you bottom end. TAKE IT THE HELL OFF!!! and and no 2 into 1 doesnt give you more bottom end. the pipe looses power, and the carbs flow better up top, and they tend to burn up a motor if its isnt PERFECT and my brosthers has bottom end close to 4 pokes, it has FMF fattys, stock carbs, open air box, VF2's and +4 timng stock front sprocket and like a 42 on the rear, it whill up and jump off the line and with the gearing it gets up fast too, just not a quick as a more top end bike. oh and no porting done to it.
  18. Yeah if you are going that far down up front just get one or two teeth out back. and try the 13 you will be shifting A LOT.
  19. whats your filter and pipe set-up 320 sould be right for pods or completely open air box, and stock piolot id go up to a 27.5 just so the air screw isnt that far in.
  20. PLEASE PLEASE come work at a yamaha dealer out here, the parts counter is filled with retards, i mean when you have to explain what reeds are to get the gaskets for them someone needs fired. But yeah certification is bullshit for some people, i am more qualified then most of the people that work the shop at my closest local dealer, not that i even want a job there, but i can do better work then these retards. Good luck with the job, and i wish you could teach some people a thing or two about bikes LOL
  21. alrighty and rubberneck's explanation makes sence about half clip, but who the hell gets it that perfect a 10 degree change in the weather and if you that picky you need to jet again. screw jet kits, i have a box with a bunch of mikuni jets thats al i need.

  25. The little screws in the clamp that holds down the needs is my guess, but why did you get a crappy jet kit anyhow. EDIT the washer for this screw and its twin check both carbs. if they arent that then the only thing left is the pilot screw.
