  1. yeah the right can run our of fuel faster then the left because the line is longer if its stock. and air leak, detonation, or a single grain of sand, dirt, w/e in the main will do it too, Also the choke tube coming loose would do it too on just the right, my guess is air leak do you have the hell we call a boost bottle?
  2. we need to start a part and how it works sticky
  3. yeah if your jetting is off what rear gear and tire size?
  4. the piston could have locked up, rod just broke for the bazillion RPM these things run. and a crank of ebay isnt bad if you make sure you get them saying it spins free and nothing bent or things like that incase it is you can get your money back, you can get HOT RODS for about as much as a stock one. but if the crank isnt bad you can just get rods and have it rebuilt. the only for sure way to know what went wrong is to take off the jugs and look.
  5. hahahahahahahhahhhahah that would be the shit i may do that with one now to see if i can damn you another project. ill get me some of those electric turbos off ebay too.
  6. standing like that it could have caused it to run lean if you were like that while running. there are many things that could have casued it. only real way to tell is tear it down and see whats there.
  7. Deffinatly just drain the oil and water and pull the clutch cover off.
  8. An R1 does not have 160HP to begin with. Our ZX9 bike has 154 and an R1 is slower, and this thing has hit 100 in 3rd gear and the best thing is the banshee frame is lighter then the ZX9 bike. it takes a good rider to go that fast on the sand with that much power i really look forward to seeing how well mine does, and usually people put those huge sprockets on the back mine has the stock ZX9 41tooth its geared to do 160ish but it won't see that with 22" paddles good kill it takes and it only took me about 1/8th of a mile to hit 100 cause it was spinning.
  9. as the piston moves back down it push the reeds closed alowing the fuel air mixture to move around in the motor and the pipe to push it back into the cylinder with forcing the air and fuel back out through the carbs. thats about as basic as i can put it see when the green pushes down when the piston moves down and stops where ther reeds are. different reed problems cause different things. not closing all the way causes down low and mid to suck, up high you can almost run without reeds. broken reeds almost the same thing if a peddle breakss youll know cause it can jam in the piston and that side will be dead at idle, i had a blaster that one side of the reeds almost fell off cause teh screws came loose ran fine just sitting there idling but had NO power exccept up top.
  10. Yeah ditch the 2 into 1 and get another matching carb i hate them and a lot of people feel the same but to each his own. i bought two used bikes with them and both were burnt up by prevoius owner, And how funny does a banshee with one pipe look?
  11. +1 EVERYTHING depends on your mods. i have a bike with dune port runs GREAT with 34mm PJ's you loose some low end, but hell its a ported banshee there is no low end
  12. does the clutch work? ther could be a bolt rattling around it happens a lot.
  13. Its two stroke its supposed to do that What are you mixing your oil at? most everyone uses 32:1
  14. YEAH DAWG LOL just make sure you get some light rims you will get better mileage and stop better, a stock SRT10 ram picks up 2/10th in the quarted by loosing the 20's on it
  15. I had them on my stock bikes they ran like shit. and i have a proted bike with big carbs. it runs fine with one just because i dont have a tube never riped a boot cause i keep it from wabbling.
  16. just ask for a crossover tube in teh wanted section
  17. they make it hard to get an accurate tune. and they rip intake boots causing air leak, which leads to burning up the bike, they also rub on your throttle cable, and fuel line and anything else near it.
  18. the water could have shorted out the coil a little bit. and the pick up, but same day and after sitting you may just have some dirt in your carbs. EDIT when i say coil i meant coils on the stator.
  19. they make it hard to get an accurate tune. and they rip intake boots causing air leak, which leads to burning up the bike, they also rub on your throttle cable, and fuel line and anything else near it.
  20. I want cub's i have 3 or 4 BB laying around
  21. yeah we need to know current jetting to even begin to help
  22. I dont shift like that on power usually, never had a problem, i usually only do it when half way putting around. and riding easy. i just shift no need for a clutch and have never had a problem when riding hard i do use the clutch.
  23. DUDE GTFO!!! We/I don't appreciate all bashing of members who know WTF they are talking about. Now you are like every other dipshit on craigslist that thinks they can sell something, and i bet someone here in Vegas will buy your bullshit add and thinks its a great bike. just sell the bike as a stock bike, dont bullshit and that is a decent price even stock if its well taken care of. I dont mind pricks like you cause i ignore them, but when you start attacking people i respect as friends, then i have a problem. all in all just GTFO
  24. whats your jeting and pipes.
