I actually had my stock boost bottle ported and polished inside and out, I didn't really like the performance so I had it nikasil coated and bored to 72mm. and OMFG! my shee really rips like a mofo now! :ohmy:

sounds like your mains are lean, I run 270-280 mains and I am at 4800', airscrews are 1.5 turns out, starts first kick every time and runs strong, real good idea to check your compression also. There was an thread on here a while back where everyone lists their setups, ie jetting, pipes, filter, timing, elevation, etc. good luck man.

Usually the ball welds itself to the rod, a pancake bearing is a perfect fix for that problem, get one, and you will never have that problem again!

There is a ball bearing looking thing that goes in after you install the rod., goes between the rod and the adjustment screw, did you loose yours?

I kinda like the way EVERYONE compares their shit to a banshee! That thing is stupid, it has so much compression that you have to pullstart it, come on, give me a break. I'll go ahead and pull start it with my shee just so I can whip the shit out of it. -
Yup, the rod goes in first and then the ball. The rod pivots on the actuator arm.

I usually use a little rtv. on both sides off all the intake gaskets, just a lite coat. Works every time.

You can get the wicked a arms for a little more $. They have had good reviews on here in the last couple of weeks. You are definitely on the right track, suspension first, engine mods second. I am bassackwards on my set up! :ermm:

DEFINITELY do not use any other puller than the yamaha flywheel puller.
