Also, don't forget to de-burr the hole inside the carb. where the drill bit pokes through the bore, I radiused mine with a dremel. :geek:

Who did the port job?

I am more than happy with mine, you just have to follow the installation instructions to a tee. My head does not leak at all. You get more cooling with a noss head than a shaved stocker, remember the more compression/power you make the more heat the motor makes. Good luck

Well, I took my pods off today and smelled the oil, it smelled like gas but was exactly the same color as the premix I use- Motul. :ermm:

Actually, come to think about it, my stock air filter did the same thing, but I will definitely take them back off and check if it is pre-mix or filter oil. Thank you for the fast response.

Hey all you banshee guru's, I've got a question for you. Today I was cleaning my k&n pods and noticed some oil on the bottom of the carb inlets. Am I over-oiling my pods or what? I followed the oiling instructions that k&n recommends. What gives?

Hell, they look fine to me just rum them just as they are, make sure you drive backwards so you dont ruin those front tires (of course i'm drunk right now too!) he, he!
