I did the yfz front end swap and like it. I had +2+1 arms and works dual rates before. The setup I have now blows it out of the water. I swapped the whole yfz front end and put 16.5" Elka shocks on. The brakes are far better than the banshee brakes. As far as Works being better than Elka, you must not have rode them both to compare them. I have had both and there is no way in hell Works is in anyway better than Elka!

You will have to give us an update on the ride quality. Also could you take a picture of your bike from the side? I want to see how the overall bike sits. How does it sit when your sitting on it, does the front end sit high? One last thing, you said the top arm hits the shock. I switched my top arms from left to right and that cleared up the clearance problem.

I put 16.5" elka tripple rates on my 450 swap and it sits about an inch lower than I want it to. I would say anywhere from 17 to 18" would be ideal.

Start by checking your inake boots, where your boost bottle hooks into them, for cracks. The bottle is notorious for cracking intake boots. Then get a stock cross over tube to replace the boost bottle. Then take your boost bottle outside and smash it with a hammer, or mail it to Angel Ripper. He jacks off to boost bottles.

Thats a good question. He said due to spring break it would be a few weeks before he could send them. I sent him money three weeks ago and haven't heard back from him since. I'm sure he will come through, spring break has to be over soon... Speedy, quit boozin and make us some tie rods!!!!

I just did the complete 450 front end swap minus the shocks. I put a set of elka tripple rate rezzies that are 16.5" from eye to eye. They are about an inch longer than yfz shocks, so it doesn't sit low in the front. I would recomend getting the spindles, brakes and everything. The 450 brakes are freakin AWESOME compared to the banshee brakes. Remember that when you do buy the 450 arms you need to also buy some longer tie rods. I think the banshee +2 tie rods will work, or Speedy can make you some for $25 bucks or so.
