You need to get some shocks that are made for the banshee 14 3/4" long. Or you can get you some +2+1 a arms, which if your setting up for trail/mx, would be a good idea any way. The +2 arms will work alot better with the 450 shocks.
I'm running t5s with a boss intake, 35 airstrykers and I have clearance issues as well. I had to angle the head pipe so that it didn't hit the top of the carb and I put header wrap on the silencer to keep the outer wear from melting.
I got ahold of a dude at Elka and he said they can revalve, respring, and make it a zero preload for $375. What does he mean by zero preload, and has anyone had this done their rear shock?
Do you have any vids of you running those duros? My buddy runs them on his z400 and they are the cats meow in dam near any terrain. I thought that the banshee would just spin them though.. Do you have any motor work done?
Sorry to hear that you guys are having such a hard time with these people. I just noticed that these are not the same people that I bought my levers from. Their ebay name was asvinovations.
Hmm, didn't think about that. I just put some exhuast wrap on the silencer to keep from burning the outerwear. The other issue is the actual head pipe hits the top of the left carb. I had to "Motivate" the pipe to fit.
With this new preident, and the way politics are going, that SKS could be worth thousands in few years... I am in no way shape or form an SKS fan, just saying OBAMA sucks...
