  1. How could you not be sure about a lifetime warrenty? What length of shocks and spindles are you going to use?
  2. He can build you a custom set for alot cheaper than new. I'm in the works of ordering a set myself!
  3. Way to go Mitch!
  4. You probably have too much motor for the stock tranny. Can you shift through the gears if you let off?
  5. Post up some pics.
  6. Do you have a billet basket? I don't think you can put straight cuts on the oem basket due to the fact they are not bolted together. However if you have a billet basket already, just unbolt the old gear and install the new one. Make sure to use loctite on the bolts.
  7. Get ahold of Tim at Steller performance, he can build you a set.
  8. I fought this battle a few weeks ago. Like said above, make sure your seals and bearings are installed and seated correctly. Are you tightening the bottom middle bolt first? There are numbers stamped on the cases for the correct fastening sequence. Hand tighten a couple of top bolts first and then flip it over and start on the bottom.
  9. Hahaha. Typical Jersey if you ask me! I wonder if thats a new haircut!
  10. You can get some pro circuit pipes, +4 stroke crank, and a MX port, and raise the compression.
  11. Crank went out priority mail today, thanks Kiel! Cases and pipes still for sale.
  12. I have been doing that type of racing for 4 years now. I have run three different sets of pipes and the t5s have been my favorite. I have been running dune ported motors as well. And honestly, the fmf fattys do really well too.
  13. Get some T5s
  14. Running a set of .80 over jugs is just fine. The only thing you may notice is heat, but if your going to be running in the dunes you should be ok. What do you mean by running a long rod crank? Is it stock stroke or 4mil? Pulling the cylinders off and sending them to a builder is the only way to go. You can pull the cylinders off yourself and put them back together and save yourself some coin. Get a clymers manual, it walks you through step by step with pictures.
  15. I just got back from a 4 day stay. The dunes are awesome, the weather is awesome and the park rangers never charged us for camping the entire weekend!
  16. If you can't fit a wrench in there, grind down an old one or a cheap one and make one fit. I love me some sweet tea, but I have never had a crumpet.
  17. [email protected] I will get it shipped out to you tomorrow bubba!
  18. Stator is sold and shipped!
  19. You don't have to remove the flywheel to change the timing. Just loosen the three bolts that hold the plate to the cases and alighn the number you want with the seam of the cases.
  20. A set of Perfect cases, no chain wack and some new studs. $175 shipped FMF Fattys with silencers in really nice shape, $275 shipped Stator and timing plate, came off a running bike and tested perfect, plug fits a 2001, $80 shipped Stock crank, came out of running bike, rods are good and tight $100 shipped Or I can put together a bottom end, (trans, crank, cases) for $350.
  21. Haha, with the whole top diamond and the bottom row gold!
  22. If its running better in the cooler weather, you were to rich.
  23. I was originally running Full Flight +2+1 with works dual rates. I came across a really good deal on Elkas that were advertised for a banshee so I bought them. When they showed up, I realized they were for a longer travel banshee. They are 16.5" long so I bought the 450 setup, and they fit perfect. In the trails and track its not real terrible, but I have my bike lowered for Horseshoe and TT raceing. When its lowered it feels like I'm steering a tank. It pushes in the corners and it just hard to turn. At regular ride hieght its the same, just not as bad. Either way you put it, my old setup was alot better. I got ahold of Tim at Steller performance and he can custom build me some arms to fit the longer Elkas, for the same price as off the shelf arms. So thats the direction I'm headed. 450 arms belong on 450s!
  24. Thank you, I'll test that today.
  25. I just put on trail techs and the bulbs blow out on them as soon as I turn them on. Can anyone tell me why? I put in new 35w halogen bulbs from the hardware store, is there a certain type I should run?
