  1. Do you have an aftermarket grille that covers up your radiator more than it should?
  2. Did you get your swingarm built?
  3. Did you do a leak down test when you put it back together? You can build your own for $20 bucks. Also, you need to make sure his jetting is correct. Give us a list his mods and jetting.
  4. Get a Clymers manual. It has step by step process with pictures on how to test all of your electrical equipment. It will save you money in the long run if you don't have to buy stuff that doesn't need replaced. Besides that, every banshee owner should have the clymers bible!
  5. If it runs good why change it? The only thing is running 17s will probably require you run race gas. You should check your compression and find out how much you have and go from there.
  6. Whats your secret? I spent every bit of 15hours working on mine and they are as dull as can be. Also, dirt and mud stain them very easily now. Sanding my plastic was a terrible idea. My plastic is white by the way, maybe color has something to do with it?
  7. I'm going to talk to my tax guy and see if I can sponsor the banshee and write it off as advertisement this year. So if that works, JK Customs can sponsor me with some fire! Another guy I work with bought a brand new thundercat and his tax guy let him write it off because he uses it for work every now and then!
  8. The 400ex shocks are to long for banshee arms. They will work if you switch to the yfz front end though.
  9. Take a piece of solder and bend it into an L shape. Stick it down into your spark plug hole and align the L shape with the wrist pin. Next turn your motor over and smash the solder. Measure the thickness of the smashed part, thats your squish!
  10. It is still on my bike and my bike is filthy so hopefully you can see whats goin on here! Cut where the 2" is marked with the tape. We only cut 1.5" out of mine,so I don't know if you can just cut 2" there or not. Be sure to make a jig and spot weld everything to the table before you cut it in half.
  11. I will measure it for you and get you some pics as well.
  12. While walking through the Stone Mountain State Park woods a man came upon another man hugging a tree with his ear firmly against the tree. Seeing this he inquired, "Just out of curiosity, what the heck are you doing?" "I'm listening to the music of the tree," the other man replied. "You gotta be kiddin' me." "No, would you like to give it a try?" Understandably curious the man says, "Well, OK." He wrapped his arms around the tree and pressed his ear up against it. With this, the other guy slapped a pair of handcuffs on him, took his wallet, jewelry, and car keys then stripped him naked and left. Two hours later another nature lover strolled by, saw this guy handcuffed to the tree stark naked, and asked, "What the hell happened to you?" He told the guy the whole terrible story about how he got there. When he finished telling his story, the other guy shook his head in sympathy, walked around behind him, kissed him gently behind the ear, and said, "This just ain't gonna be your day, Cupcake."
  13. Is it adjusted properly? Look on top of your case where the clutch cable hooks to the arm. See if the arrow on the case and the arrow on the arm line up.
  14. +4 will work great. You might also see a benifit from running 93 octane as well.
  15. FAST has the adjustment screws that you can actually turn with your fingers, way better!
  16. How did you get the ltr shocks to fit? I bought a pair and they didn't even come close to fitting.
  17. The guy around here wants $300 for a frame if he sands it and preps it himself. I had my arms, swinger, tie rods and stem done for $100. So around $400+
  18. If they are new or in great shape that sounds like a hell of a deal. Although I think everyone is going with the dual beadlocks these days so they may not be worth as much if you had to resale them later down the road.
  19. You can get a topend rebuild for less than $300 bucks and a good used crank for around $100. $450 is probably a pretty good deal if everything is there.
  20. They leak everywhere. I spent 2 hours with a leak down tester and a bottle of silicone sealing them up.
  21. I'm running a dune ported 4mil with t5s and 35pwks and get along good with them. I would like to try a set of 33s to see if that would help with a little more bottom end though.
  22. Get em. I would rather run those over my Boss intake any day.
  23. I know exactly what you mean. I get taxed out of my salary and my comissions get whacked by freakin 25%. I about shit when I got my first big comission check.
  24. What do you mean center to center? I have a -1.5 I can measure for you, be more specific on where you want me to measure.
  25. I'm due for some new ones, hook me up with some blue!
